Enya stood at the reception desk as Kay sat in the lobby, waiting for her as his attention was focused on his phone at the moment.

She takes a quick glance at him, sighing in the process. It wasn't because he did anything. It was because after three months of this pregnancy, her mind was still pondering about who the actual father was.

Even if Jay was out of the picture now, she still had speculations. And she couldn't just erase them.

"A nurse should be coming out for you in the next twenty minutes or so.." The receptionist says with a slight smile around her mouth.

Enya does a quiet "Thank you," before turning around and walking toward a seat that was next to Kay.

He lifts his head up, glaring over at her. "Everything good?" He questions. She hummed as she forces a smile around her mouth.

Kay rests his palm on her slightly grown stomach and kisses her cheek. "I know you're nervous and it's okay. But just know Ima be here for you the whole journey, okay mama?" He reassures as Enya looks at him and nods her head as he proceeds to kiss her.

After a while, they both went silent between each other. Enya still couldn't believe she was having a baby. It's just something that she can't wrap her head around. But it was something that she would have to slowly deal with as these next few months went by.

And she didn't take Kay's support for granted either. She felt really lucky at the moment. But at the same time, she wondered if she would still feel that way if it was Jay instead of Kay. She didn't know and she didn't want to because he didn't matter anymore.

"Enya Mains?" A nurse calls out.

Enya stands, Kay follows behind her. Kay intertwines his hand with hers as they start their journey to the back of the clinic. The nurse eyes them up and down before giving them a welcoming smile. "Just down this way." The nurse says as she leads them to the room they'll be in for the appointment.

Once making it to the room, Enya sat on the bed while Kay pulls up a nearby chair to sit next to her.

Enya bites her bottom lip in nervousness. Her heart was racing, she was about to see what her baby looked like for the first time.

She was really nervous. Kay glances up at her. "You okay, mama?" He asks as he places his hand on her thigh. She looks down at him and slowly nods her head.

His hand runs up and down her thigh. "It's okay.. no need to be nervous. We're about to see what our baby looks like. If anything, you should excited as much as I am right now." He says with a large smile around his mouth.

Enya attempts to smile but she couldn't, and Kay could tell.

He stood from his seat and stands in between her legs, embracing her tightly as she slowly returns the favor.

"I love you so much, Kay." Enya manages to say while she felt tears starting to form underneath her eyes. He pulls back, wiping away her tears before they could fall. He then plants a kiss on her lips. "I love you more, mama. Don't ever forget that." He softly says.

She smiles as he sat back down in his chair.
