Chapter 4 [ Trap ]

P.O.V [Ace]

Alice, Alex, Chase, Matt, me and my twin sister Anne, decided to go on a simple food pick up. Didn't go as planed.

It didn't help that 2 of our group members, stayed back. I hope they're not fighting again. Dale  isn't ready for the battle field, but he is awesome at building and designing. He's a good  member. On the other hand, there's Nick. He's hotheaded, stubborn, thinks before he acts, but he is an amazing fighter. Someone nice to have by your side, though he's a bit of a loner.

Dale can handle himself, but Nick is, in a word, a little out of hand. So we left him behind with Dale. That's probably going to be, the worst mistake of our lives.

So, back to the food pick up...

It didn't go as planed.

Turns out it was a trap. The government knows by now that we exist. I don't think they know where we are, or who we are. Not yet. It's just a matter of time.

It started out simple. Go to a lower class food storage, go in undetected, and get the food and run.

Happened the government had different plans.

"When this rouges. This imperfections, trip the silent alarms at this coordinates, the guards stationed at their regular posts will stay where they are, unless imperfection is sighted. Others waiting for phase 2 of the plan, will stays in hiding intil the command is made for phase 2 to start. Once imperfections are in our custody, you know what to do. Remember to always be armed. Do not hesitate."

"Ace are you listening? Don't tell me your a spy in disguise, replacing my brother." My sister Anne joked.

"I'm here." I responded back. Holding down the button on my earpiece. Which we use to commutate to each other.

"Aww, to bad. I was kinda hoping for a spy." Anne said holding back a laugh.

"So what's wrong? You are usually someone who listens." Matt asked. Matt would have been a perfection if he did have a sweet tooth for music.

"I have a bad feeling about this. The guards look to tense." I answered Matt.

"What could be so bad? We go in, maybe get a little dancing in. Then be back for tea." Alice expressively said. She's really obsessed with the book 'Alice in Wonderland'. We're all think Alice isn't her real name. She can get crazy at times, but we all love her. Though, she did dye her cats hair to look like the Cheshire Cat.

"I don't think this is a good idea" I said into my earpiece.

"We can't just ditch a mission, and FOOD for a bad feeling." Alex joined the conversation. I also heard a "same." From Chase. Those two are stick to each other like cement. There the trouble makers, Alex more than Chase.

"Your out voted baby brother." Anne spoke.

"You're only half an hour older, so quit it." I spoke back to my twin sister.

"Never." She said.

I just sighed.

So as you can guess. I was right.

"Come on, let's move it. 2 more minutes and the cameras come back online." Anne whispered/yelled to the group, now altogether.

We all quietly rushed for the door, with at least 1 bag of food. Before we got though the door, the large storage door opened. There stood around 20 men, all having guns trained on us. Lights blinded too.

I stiffened like plank. We're all going to die if we don't come up with a plan fast. Everyone else was pretty stiff too. The I realized that there were only 5 people, including me. Where's Alice?

Then a ceiling light came down, landing on top of one of the army men. Everyone looked up. Alice was cutting the ropes. This is are chance.

I quickly grabbed an arrow and drew back the string of my bow, and shot one of them in the shoulder. Not my best shot, but now is not the time for that. Everyone knew what happened next. Us vs. Them.

Guns where being fired. Metal was clanging. Me and my sis were firing arrows like crazy.

After we got out alive, with the food of course. We headed for base, everyone seemed tired. I know I was. I can't stop yawning.

When we were almost there, I heard yelling and then a thud.

The others looked like they heard that too. That can only mean two things.

Nick and Dale are arguing again. Or, they both found trouble. Maybe even both.

This I going to be a long day. Mentality sighing.

Yah chapter 4 is out! Also new characters!

So I don't think I'll update for the next 2 weeks because I'm going on a road trip. Yah!

Also I got my first phone today!!!!! Yes!!!
