Chapter 4

The next day Zelo woke up to a beautifully decorated house. Yongguk smiled to himself from his hiding spot. Yongguk had called all of Zelo's friends and invited them over, so all of them were hiding throughout the room.

Zelo sat up on the couch and smiled a bit, looking around.

Before Zelo could process what was happening, Yongguk and all the others, including Daehyun, Himchan, Jongup, Youngjae, and the teacher, popped up from numerous hiding spots and shouted, "happy birthday, Zelo!"

Zelo covered his mouth with his hands and smiled uncontrollably, feeling tears prickling at his eyes. He shook his head a few times and sat back on the couch before standing up and running over to Yongguk.

They hugged for a bit and stood there before starting the party. Zelo talked to everyone and smiled more than he had for years. When it was time for cake, everyone went to the dining room and sat at the table, Zelo at the head.

Daehyun, Yongguk and the teacher carried the cake out, and it was huge.

Zelo smiled brightly and shook his head. "You didn't have to!" Zelo smiled and stood up to reach the candles. Yongguk chuckled and gave a small signal to the others. Daehyun dimmed the lights and everyone took a big breath before singing.

Zelo looked around with a huge smile on his face before looking back at the candles. When they finished the song, Zelo took a big breath and blew out the candles in one try, making himself feel successful.

Everyone cheered and they each got a piece of cake. Zelo smiled and thanked Yongguk with a kiss on the cheek, which was full of frosting. Yongguk chuckled before taking a bit of his own frosting and placing it on Zelo's nose.

Zelo giggled and wiped off his nose, continuing to eat the cake.

"You've got a little something. Right... There..." Yongguk leaned down and kissed Zelo lightly. Everyone gasped before cheering and continuing to talk.

Daehyun walked over to Zelo after a bit and smiled, patting him on the back.

The rest of the day went by quickly, and everyone had fun. Zelo got a lot of presents, and everyone helped clean up.

People wished Zelo a happy birthday again as they left, leaving Yongguk and Zelo alone in the livingroom.

Yongguk smirked slightly before widening his eyes slightly. 'Everyone is still outside!'

Yongguk stood up and grabbed Zelo's hand before telling him to stand somewhere. Zelo stood still and looked around before bright lights were turned on. Yongguk was suddenly in a nice outfit, and Zelo blushed.

Yongguk walked up to Zelo, giving a gummy smile before getting on one knee. Zelo gasped and felt tears prickling at his eyes.

Yongguk gestured to something behind him and Zelo looked up.

A huge sign was there, reading,
'Zelo, I'm sorry for not saying this, but my voice would shake so much that you wouldn't be able to understand me.

I fell in love the moment I saw you. You were so gorgeous. Getting to know you over the past few weeks was lovely! I love you with all my heart, and now that we can freely express our love, since you're 19 and graduating, will you marry me?'

Zelo felt tears running down his cheeks as he nodded frantically. Yongguk took his hand and put a beautiful ring on Zelo's finger. Zelo hugged Yongguk tightly and they shared one of the most passionate kisses they had ever felt.
