Should Have Known Better(COMPLETE)

Chapter 6

Waking up Saturday morning around 9 I decided to go ahead and get up since Hakeem said he's coming to pick me up at 11:30 for breakfast

I got out of bed heading to the bathroom I didn't look and the mirror I just grabbed my toothbrush putting some toothpaste on it

Stepping in the shower I began bush my teeth and clean my self thinking about how I'm about to go on my second date of my life

Once I was dress (outfit at top) it was 11:17 I went down to the kitchen and grab a banana off of the kitchen table I ate it while I looked down at my phone to see I still had a little time so I called Devon so I can call to talk to my babies

PHONE CALL
DEVON: hello
Me: can I speak to the twins
Devon: well damn I'm doing fine how are you
Me: look just put my kids on the fucking phone Devon
I heard someone knock on the door going to the door to open it I came face to face with a handsome Hakeem

"You ready" Hakeem ask me looking me up and down licking his lips I had forgot Devon was even on the phone

Devon: yo who the fuck is that Mia
Me:bye Devon I'll call you back later tonight to talk to the boys
I said hanging up the phone with him

"Hi Hakeem come in" I said stepping to the side

"Wassup ma you looking beautiful as always I hope I wasn't messing up your phone call" he ask taking a set on the sofa

"Ummmm thank you and no I was just talking to my kids father" I said putting my phone away

"Ok well are you ready"he ask i nodded getting my hand leading me outside to his car

"I like your car" I said to him while he was closing my door for me

"Thanks ma" he said once he was on the driver side cranking up the car pulling off

"So where we going" I ask looking at the side of his face

"I was thinking we could get something to eat from IHOP then go chill at my home boy house" he said turning up into IHOP parking lot

"T-that would be nice" I said Hakeem help me out of the car

SKIPPING BREAKFAST

"That was really good I think I'm in love with that place now" I said getting in the car with Hakeem help

"Well maybe we can make this our little place"he said getting in the car heading to his friends house

After driving for about 36 minutes we pulled into a two story big white house

"Come baby we got people waiting on us" Hakeem said grabbing my hand heading to the house the closer we got to the house the more nervous I got

"Chill baby I got you ok" I just nodded my head

"No I don't understand head nod Mia" he said

"Yea I understand" I said

"Wassup everybody" Hakeem said to his friends I should have know that they were black by the way he talk but it wasn't nothing but 3 boys and two girls over here

"This my new friend Mia I was telling y'all about" he said smiling

"Damn ma you are you single" some dark skin boy ask I smile but before I could answer Hakeem beat me to it

"Nigga she don't want your black ass" Hakeem said pulling me into his lap

"Hi" I said waving my hand everybody spoke expect this light skin girl with red straight tracks she wasn't all that but she still looked better then me

We stayed at his friends house for about 6 hours just talking having fun and watching movies everybody was pretty cool expect the red head chick which I found out who name was Lea. Me and Hakeem are now leaving

"So did you have fun" he ask while driving

"It's was fun but I don't think Lea likes me so much" I said looking at the side of his head

"Don't trip she just and jealous ex baby so don't even worry about it" he said glancing in my direction

"I don't know why she jealous of me" I said looking out of the window as we finally pulled up to my house

"Why you say that" Hakeem ask with a serious face

"Why I say what Hakeem" I ask looking confused

"Why you acting like she can't be jealous of you Mia?" he ask me

"I don't know it's just why would she be jealous of me" I ask just wishing he would just drop the shit

"Cause your beautiful baby" Hakeem said rubbing his hands on my cheek his face was so close to mines I felt his breath on my face

"I-i I" was cut off by Hakeem

"Your beautiful is what you are trying to say right" I just nodded my so I can get the hell up out of this car

"H-hak" he cut me of this time by putting his finger on my lips then he started staring me and my eyes then I felt the most soft lips ever and my life

The kiss was so soft and comfortable that I started to close my eyes until I realize that we just met

"Ummmm i-i have to go" I said pulling away from the kiss rushing out of the car once I got and the house I put my back to the front door thinking about how I just kiss another person that wasn't Devon
