The gentle waves rocked the luxurious yacht as it glided through the dark waters, the full moon casting a silver glow over everything. The deck shimmered under the soft lights, the ocean stretching endlessly beyond them. It was a night of exclusivity, a VIP experience reserved for only the most fortunate. But Muichiro Tokito and Genya Shinazugawa weren't here because of wealth or connections. They were here because, for once, fate had decided to be kind.
Genya stood near the railing, gripping it tightly, eyes scanning the horizon. He had never been on something this fancy before. The breeze ruffled his short, spiky hair, sending a shiver down his spine. "This is kinda crazy, huh?" he muttered, glancing sideways.
Muichiro, as composed as ever, stood beside him, his long dark hair flowing like silk in the wind. "It's nice," he said simply, his voice carrying the usual dreamy detachment, but there was a softness in his eyes tonight-something rare and reserved for moments like these.
Genya exhaled sharply, rubbing the back of his neck. "Yeah, nice," he echoed, his voice quieter this time.
They had been given VIP passes for the yacht's exclusive night cruise-a rare chance to escape the chaos of demon slaying and simply be...together. No swords. No blood. Just them, the sea, and the moon above.
Muichiro turned to face Genya fully, his expression unreadable. "I wanted to do something special," he admitted, his pale fingers resting lightly on the railing. "For us."
Genya swallowed hard, feeling heat rise to his face. "Special, huh?" He chuckled, trying to shake off his nerves. "Didn't know you were the romantic type."
A small, knowing smile flickered across Muichiro's lips. "I guess you bring it out of me."
Genya's heart nearly stopped. He wasn't used to this kind of attention-this kind of affection. And yet, standing here, bathed in moonlight, with Muichiro's unreadable yet mesmerizing gaze locked onto his, he realized he wanted more of it.
The yacht slowed slightly, as if giving them a moment frozen in time. The reflection of the moon rippled over the water, its brilliance making everything feel unreal. Muichiro stepped closer, his fingers brushing against Genya's hand-hesitant but purposeful.
"Genya," he murmured, his voice softer than the waves.
Genya turned, looking down at Muichiro, his breath hitching.
Then, without warning, Muichiro closed the distance between them, pressing a gentle yet firm kiss against Genya's lips. It was light at first, uncertain, but as Genya melted into it, a warmth spread between them, deepening the moment. The ocean, the night, the world-they all disappeared. There was only the quiet hum of their hearts, the salty breeze, and the taste of something new yet undeniably right.
When they finally pulled away, Genya was breathless, his face burning. Muichiro, still impossibly calm, tilted his head slightly. "I wanted to do that under the moon," he said, as if it were the simplest thing in the world.
Genya let out a short, breathy laugh. "You're unbelievable."
Muichiro hummed, lacing his fingers through Genya's with an ease that left no room for doubt. "So are you."
And as the yacht sailed under the watchful gaze of the moon, their hands remained intertwined, their hearts beating in sync with the waves.
