I tried to get Andy to let me drive but he wouldn't even let me get close to the damn keys.
I strapped in Riley, who just turned five a week ago and got into the passenger seat to see Andy grinning widely at me.
"What?"
"Nothing."
I raised and eye brow at him and sighed running my hand through my hair and letting my head drop to the seat back rest.
I closed my eyes listening to the fits of gigfles behind me. She always gets so amused whenever Andy and I kiss, flirt, or even blush at each other, she tells me she loves it and that its great. Her looks are like mine but her personality is a whole lot different. Besides her giggles and looks shes all Andy.
I heard someone next to me moving, soon Andy placed his lips on my forehead keeping them there for a while whilist he pet my hair. It was quite soothing.
"I love you."
"I love you too."
I looked my eyes and we gave each other joy filled smiles. Riley awwwed and jumped up and down in her seat whcih made andy and I let out small chuckles. This was normal for her but it never ciezed to make us happy.
He sat back in his seat and started up the car, pulling out of the driveway and driving down the almost empty streets.
We were on our way to Jinxx' and Jakes place where CC and Jazzy were also going there with their daughter and son, turns out they got twins. I think they were already there actually.
Andy drove down the road, playing Motley Crue and singing along to some of the lyrics.
I looked to my left at my beautiful husband, then my attention drew to Riley. She smiled up at me from her DS she was playing on and went back to pressing buttons and letting out small sound effects which I thought was adorable and beyond cute.
I turned to Andy again, smiling at him, the light turned green and he drove; everything just went slow from then on.
A truck, much larger than our car flew a red light, resulting in a crash, yes... It had to be us.
Hit us before we could even process what was speeding towards us, split clean in half like paper.
Everything was so perfect, our lives were too good to be true, I should've known.
Everything that we've been through together, we finally have our lives set straight and life took everything, including itself.

Why can't I still get my head wrapped around it? I've heard the story countless times, seen pictures, I was a part of it but I can't seem to understand and process this completely.
My biological parents died when I was younger.
How did I survive? Why did I survive? Why did that happen? Why can't I be with them? Why aren't they here?
Why?

"Why...?" I asked myself barely in a whisper.
I'm a selective mute, bullied suicidal teenager blah blah blah.
But my dads.... Ashley and Andy, they died and I survived. Why? Why me? How come they couldn't have lived with me?
I can barely remember but when they were still alive, they were so nice, they were great people.
Amazing parents...
