"Not to argue too much with what's going on here..." said Ava. "But how do we rescue thousands of people from demons all by ourselves?"

Rich pitched in. "We could try figuring out where Rob came from to defeat them." Tetra looked off in the distance towards the arena while her friends were discussing plans. They had survived Rob's torture. She got Lo to kiss her, even if it wasn't on the lips yet. Ava and Evyn appeared to be closer than before, even with Evyn's new biology.

But something seemed wrong. Not just all those people suffering while they devised a plan, but how did Rob get here in the first place? Why didn't they just make a deal with Heaven's leader if they wanted more people to torture? Her tunnel vision started again, and everyone's voices started sounded far away as she considered all the possibilities.

She heard Lo say her name. "Tetra, Evyn said she feels kinda sick, so we're all gonna go home now. Well, Rich is coming with me. His parents are here, and they may not like him going off saving the world and all." The boys walked off, leaving the three girls there alone.

Ava asked Tetra, "So when are you actually going to ask him out yet? He obviously likes you."

Tetra brushed her hair behind her ear. "Well, I was kinda hoping he'd ask me." "That's for suckers," Evyn said in her new voice. "Guys think it's hot when the girl asks him out."

"They do?"

"Hell yeah."

Tetra thought for a while and then said, "How should I ask him?"

"Just-" Evyn didn't finish her sentence. The light in her eyes began to flicker a bit and she stumbled. Ava and Tetra both caught her.

"You should get her back to your house, Ava."

"Good idea. Let me call an HT."

Ava called one of the Heaven Taxis and she took her girlfriend away. Tetra decided to walk back home instead. The fresh air cleared her thoughts a bit as she thought of Lo's amazing face, wondering how his lips would feel on hers.

She heard an explosion coming from the arena but didn't turn around. She wanted to put the memory out of her mind until they had to save them.

Evyn and Ava arrived at their home after a few minutes in the HT.

Ava collapsed on the couch in exhaustion and still not being able to use her leg. Evyn decided to use their bed instead. Her hands did feel more like hers, but something still felt off about them. Another spell of weakness passed over her and she fell asleep.
