Tetra's doorbell rang, so she got out of bed to see who it was. She blushed when she opened the door and saw Lo and Rich waiting for her. She ran back inside, got dressed, and came back out. "When are we meeting the girls?" said Tetra.
"I'm not sure," Lo said. "They just sent us a message telling us to meet them at the restaurant near the arena."
"Well, let's go then."
"Wait," said Rich.
"What?"
"There have been a lot of demon energy waves coming from the arena since we left. We need to be careful in case any more people have been cursed."
Tetra shrugged. "Sure."

The three of them made their way to the Nourri de Heaven, the more famous French restaurant there.
Ava and Evyn were sitting at a table, although Evyn was facing away from them clutching her stomach. Tetra and the boys ran to the table; pain was evident on Evyn's face. "I tried to get her to eat something cause she hadn't eaten any dinner," said Ava worriedly. "Oh god, your...everything is red. Well except for your face," Rich said.
Evyn glared at Rich and let out a small, animal-like growl.
Rich backed away behind Lo. "The demon energy must be transforming her further. Ava, you're a bit discolored too are you alright?"
Before she could answer, another large wave of energy passed over the restaurant, causing the chair to erupt into purple flames, and all the tables were knocked over. Evyn knelt on the ground, holding her head and screaming.
Lo's eyes widened. "Everyone, get behind something now!"
Everyone dove behind a tipped table, except for Ava. Tetra hyperventilated as she watched Evyn through a crack in her table.
Evyn's screams continued as she was hunched over. Suddenly, she grew a bit larger, and the crimson traveled up to her face. She began floating off the ground. Her claws got longer, and her tail sprouted to a much longer length than before. The whites of her eyes turned black, and they glowed even brighter than before.
Her hair grew much longer and turned fully purple. Horns grew from her head. Short fangs poked out where her canines used to be. Her ears grew pointed like an elf's ears. And the tattoo like patterns disappeared from her skin.
As quickly as it started, it stopped and Evyn fell to the ground. The clerk shouted something in French and ran.
Everyone peeked out from under the tables to see Evyn vomiting black liquid. Ava was nowhere to be found.
"That was a serious case of indigestion," said Rich. Evyn finished throwing up and stared into Rich's face. In a fit of soulless anger, she rushed towards him and pinned him against the wall. She bared her fangs and was going to sink her teeth into Rich's neck, but then a faint voice called to everyone.
"Evyn, my monster. Have peace." It sounded like Ava. Evyn stopped and turned to a small glowing blue light that appeared in the center of the room. The air seemed to fold around it, and Ava popped back into view.
Her entire body was the blue color now and small wings grew from her back. "Ava?" the young demoness said in surprise. Ava walked towards her.
Ava said in a light voice, "It makes sense now, why I was turning blue. And why you're the way you are. You kinda...evaporated me so I healed back all the way and now I'm here." Rich interrupted, "Evyn...was a demon and Ava was an angel!" Both spirits turned their gazes onto Rich, which caused him to go silent again.
"So, our earthly memories, they're not real?" asked Evyn.
"No. I don't think so," said the angel.
Tetra shouted into the fray, "That's great and all, but how did this happen?" The angel and the demon looked into each other's eyes.
"We don't actually know. We still feel like ourselves, just...different."
Lo reasoned. "Well, neither of you are like actual angels or actual demons so something very weird is going on here."
Evyn said, "Wait let me try something." She closed her eyes and focused. Then she reverted to her human form and dropped Rich. The rest of the restaurant's patrons ran after seeing that. Ava reverted to her human form as well. Rich was furiously taking notes on a small notepad he'd brought with him.
"This is revolutionary," he said to himself, "Demons...angels...everything has changed." Evyn flashed her now-permanent fangs at him, and he went back to being quiet. Ava tried waving away the halo that graced her head, but nothing would make it go away. Tetra spoke up. "Being yourselves is fine guys. We're all friends. Plus, having an angel and a demon on our side would help us defeat Rob."
"We don't wanna scare away the rest of the Heaveners do we?" Ava said with a wink. "That's true."
Lo interrupted, "Enough talk guys, we need to rescue those people."
Evyn turned back into her demon form. "I might be able to carry you guys if Ava flies one of you."
"Okay then the plan is set," Tetra said. "Let's go get Rob."
"Wait," said Ava. She turned into her angel form and kissed Evyn. "Told you I'd get to taste demon lips."
