Messing up

Twelve

Emily's POV

It's been a few days and I've been a little nervous to hang out with Kian. We have texted a few times and he tells me goodnight every night. It makes me feel safe, especially since he's only across the street. I kind of miss him. Maybe I'll text him to see if he wants to go furniture shopping me tomorrow.

Before I could text him he texted me "just my nightly goodnight text. I hope you sleep well and have the best dreams (; Goodnight & sweet dreams!"

I usually only text goodnight back but I do miss him and now is my chance. So I texted back "wait uhh.. Before you go to bed, I wanted to ask you something..." I waited a few minutes... He must have fallen asleep. I got into my pajamas and went to the bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I heard my phone ring in my bedroom. I finished brushing my teeth and ran to my phone. It was Kian "Go ahead and ask away (:" I smiled. Then texted back "okay, would you like to go shopping for furniture with me tomorrow? We need some stuff for around the house. (:"

I still didn't have a bed so I grabbed a blanket from my closet and laid it on the floor then grabbed another smaller one and a pillow and laid down and put the blanket over me. I made sure my phone was plugged in and saw Kian had texted back. "Yeah sure! When would you like to go?" I texted back "10:30" and then turned over and went to sleep.

I woke up and looked at my phone... IT WAS 10. O'CLOCK!! I forgot to set an alarm. I jumped up and decided I wouldn't take a shower. I took one yesterday, I should be fine. I grabbed a blue muscle tank crop top and black high wasted shorts. I grabbed my deodorant and put some on. I went to brush my teeth then put on some mascara and concealer. Grabbed some colorful socks and my high top converse and put them on. I looked at my phone. It was 10:30. I grabbed my purse and phone and keys and went to Kaitlyns room and she wasn't awake yet so I decided to write her a note and leave it on her phone so she would definitely see it. It said that I went to get furniture for the house with Kian and I would be back later.

I walked outside and Kian was leaning up against my car. I smiled and locked the door behind me as I walked towards him. I had a jeep so I thought we could just take my car and take small things home in it and then have the other bigger things delivered later.

As I got closer to him I couldn't decide whether to hug him or not. I decided to not. I didn't want to be weird or go fast again. "Hey! You ready?" I said. He smiled and went to open my door for me and I got it then he ran around to the passenger side and got in. I started the car and backed out of my drive way. I was planning to go to ikea. I don't really know where it's at so  I just started to drive towards where I thought it was.

"So uhh where are we going?" I heard Kian say. "I was thinking ikea. Is that okay?" I giggled after I said that. I looked over and he was smiling. "What are you smiling about?" I said and laughed a little. "You are going the wrong way." He said and I just stopped smiling. I gave him the are you serious look and he nodded. I pulled into a random parking lot and parked. "So do you know how to get there from here?" I said. He turned to me and said yeah so I asked him if he could drive and he said yeah. We switched places and took off towards where ikea really was. It was quiet in the car so I turned on the radio, one direction was on. I turned it up and started singing it.

"You're insecure don't know what for, you're turning heads when you walk through the do o or don't need makeup to cover up-" I got interrupted. Kian had turned off the radio. "Heyyy!" I said and punched him in the arm lightly. He laughed "I don't really like one direction" I looked at him like he was crazy. He didn't look at me until we stopped at a stoplight. I was still looking at him. But I guess I had stopped making the face like he was crazy because he said "like what you see" I blushed and looked out the window and saw we were at ikea. Kian parked the car and we went inside.

Hey guys I'm gonna end it here. I'm trying to keep every chapter at about 800-900 words. I thought that would be a good length. Are you liking the story so far? Also not sure when the next chapter will be up... Could be tomorrow, could be next week tbh. I'll try my hardest❤️
