Messing up

I then came back from zoning out. I could feel Kian looking at me. He was a lot taller than me even sitting down. I looked up at him and he was moving closer and closer to my face. I was scared but my head wouldn't move, like my body wanted him to kiss me.

His lips finally met mine and I kissed back. I felt sparks flying all around us. It wasn't like any other kiss I have ever had. Then he pulled away quickly. He let go of me and stood up. "I'm sorry" he said.

I looked down at my feet. I wasn't mad that he kissed me. I was upset that he stopped. I stood up too and nodded. I really didn't have any words. I couldn't speak. The kiss was amazing! I wanted to tell him but I don't know if he felt the same way.

"So do you want to go somewhere else or do you want to go home?" He asked

I thought about it for a second. "Whatever you want to do. I'm fine with going somewhere else if you want to." I tried to make a faint smile to seem like everything was okay. He also did a faint smile back. Mae both got in the car and we took off somewhere.

It was about 11am and I think we are going to get lunch at in-n-out. I've never been but I heard it's really good. We got there and went inside and ordered. We sat down waiting for our food. It was really silent, almost awkward but not quite.

"Look I..." We both said at the same time. I paused for a second. "You first." I said.

"Look Emily, I didn't mean to kiss you. You were just so beautiful and I don't know what came over me." He said. He looked kinda scared. I smiled.

"It's okay. It's not bad, I kinda liked it." I said and bit my lip. He looked at me with hope. Then the food was set in front of us. He looked happier now. I don't know if it was because of the food or what I said.

We both ate and every once in a while there was small talk. He finished first so I was still eating and as soon as I finished he threw our stuff away then grabbed my hand and pulled me out to the car.

"So you wanna go to my house for a little to meet the rest of the boys? I think they are all there today." He said.

"Uh sure! Can Kaitlyn come?" I said and he nodded.

We drove to his house and I texted Kaitlyn telling her to come over to Kian's.

We finally made it there and Kaitlyn was already inside the house. They were all just watching a movie. It seemed kinda awkward for Kaitlyn sitting there with five boys.

I looked at her with a smirk. She smiled and then looked at Jc who was sitting kinda close to her. I sat on the other side of her and told her to scoot over so kian and I could fit. She moved closer to Jc and he put his arm around her. Kian did the same to me.

When the movie was over Jc and Kian decided to play Mario cart. I guess they were really competitive at it.

After I few minutes of them playing they were yelling. I went into the kitchen to get a glass of water and Kaitlyn followed me. I wanted to tell her everything that happened today but I didn't want any one else to hear it.

"I have so much to tell you but I'm gonna tell you at home. Do you wanna stay here for another half hour or so?" I asked her. She just nodded and also got a glass of water.

We went back into the living room and sat down. They were still playing Mario cart but Connor, Trevor, and Ricky had left. After about 15 minutes they stopped playing and turned another movie on. I didn't want to start another movie and not be able to finish it so I stood up.

"We should get going guys. Sorry we still have a lot of unpacking and shopping to get everything else we need." I said gesturing to Kaitlyn.

Kian then stood up and gave me a hug. "I guess I'll talk to you later." He whispered into my ear.

Chills went down my back. I nodded and we backed away from each other. Kaitlyn was already out the door. I yelled bye to everyone and ran to catch up with Kaitlyn.
