! A day with kou !

The sun was high in the sky, casting a warm, golden glow over the town. It was one of those perfect summer days-clear skies, the faint scent of blooming flowers, and the sound of cicadas humming in the background. Kou had texted you early in the morning with a simple but enthusiastic plan: "Let's make the most of today!"

When Kou arrived to pick you up, he was grinning from ear to ear, dressed in a casual t-shirt and shorts, with a backpack slung over one shoulder. "Ready for an adventure?" he asked, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet. Without waiting for your answer, he grabbed your hand and led you to his bike. "Hop on the back-trust me, I've got this!"

The first stop of the day was the local farmer's market. Kou wandered through the stalls with wide-eyed curiosity, marveling at the colorful displays of fresh fruits, flowers, and handmade trinkets. He insisted on buying a basket of strawberries, despite not having a plan for them. "We'll figure it out later," he said with a shrug. "They're too good to pass up!" He also couldn't resist trying samples at every food stall, jokingly rating each one like he was some kind of food critic.

From there, Kou suggested heading to the river for some relaxation. He led you to a secluded spot where the water was crystal clear, reflecting the sunlight like tiny diamonds. Kou kicked off his shoes and waded in, splashing around like a little kid. "C'mon, the water's amazing!" he called, laughing as he accidentally splashed you. Soon, it turned into a full-on water fight, with both of you drenched and laughing so hard your sides hurt.

After drying off in the sun, Kou pulled out the strawberries he'd bought earlier. He handed you one, grinning as he popped one into his mouth. "See? Totally worth it," he said, his cheeks slightly flushed from the sun-or maybe the closeness between you.

In the afternoon, you both headed to the local arcade, where Kou's competitive streak came out in full force. He challenged you to every game he could find, from racing games to shooting games, determined to win as many tickets as possible. "Okay, last one," he said for the tenth time, refusing to give up on beating your high score. By the end, you were both laughing and carrying a ridiculous amount of tickets, which Kou used to get you a cheesy matching keychain. "So you'll remember today," he said with a wink.

As the sun began to set, Kou led you to a hillside overlooking the town, the perfect spot to watch the sky turn shades of orange and pink. He spread out a blanket and sat beside you, his usual energetic demeanor softening as he gazed at the view. "I'm really glad we got to do this," he said quietly, glancing at you with a warm smile. "Summer's better when you're around."

The day ended with the two of you lying on the blanket, pointing out constellations as the stars began to appear. Kou's laughter and energy made everything feel brighter, and as you looked up at the sky, you couldn't help but think it was the perfect way to spend a summer day.
