C- Yeppeth
J- Yepth on yonder seas of red
C-In the clouds of time, does yeppeth await
J- When the two suns, solice and solitude, of gallifrey set in the hills of the continent of wild endeavour, Yeppeth awaits with his warm arms outstretch to his children
C- Yeppeth brings light to his children, though the Darkness, he waits, as patient as the tides, as calm as the lake Silencio. He waits.
J- Silence has fallen. The question was asked. Yeppeth shields his children from the harming rays of death to all of creation, feeling the blood from his own wounds seep into the cracks of time
C- As the cracks in time are healing, Yeppeth begins to diminish. His work is done. He has delivered his children to fate, and the Time Lord is safe.
J- But Yeppeth is dying. His frail body turns to stone as his children weep silent tears.Never had he known such anguish or pain. Yeppeth cried out such a yelp that it spread across the land, breaking the hearts of one thousand souls.
C- All across the world, the death of yeppeth was known and grieved. Loved ones never again could know joy, only wish it would be over some day. That their souls could be free to join the happy land of Yeppeth
J- The children of Yeppeth were angry. They set out to find the source of their father's death. Full of hatred and revenge, they took up arms and scowered the land in search for the mythical creatures who's title was "the Silence"
C- But, how to make this voyage? How can they avenge the death if our beloved Yeppeth? If the time for courage had ever been, it was now. Now when the wind is fierce, now when the moors are cold, now when the earth stands still, and the earths creatures lie in wait. In wait for what is yet to come.
J- The wind gnawed at their tired bones, hunger and starvation slowly thinning their lifeless bodies. They rested under the icey stars as death began to take them for his own. But, out of the darkness and lonelyness of night, one light shone through the black void
C- Could it be? They could not be sure... The gods had not taken pity on them lately, so why should they start now? But they could almost feel the energy of the light rushing through their blood... What was it? Could they trust this light? Or would it become their demise...
J- "Father? Oh father, is it you?" They cried out in tears of salt and dispair. Their souls awakened, for they had been sleeping somewhere cold.
C- As the light grew bright, the children realised this could not be their great Yeppeth. Wasnt he gone? Lost in the sands of time? Or, maybe... Maybe he wasnt. Was vengeance really the point of their journey? Or was there an unkown purpose? A new value? Could this be... A new beginning?
J- Eyes of pure fire and ice burned through the light, the sound of the universe reaching their ears. This could not be Yeppeth, for he had never cared for life, or death. This was something new...Yeppeth's children cried out in fear.
C- This new energy they felt, this could not be the blessing of their father. It was cruel, greedy, cold. To escape was pointless. There was no place to go. If the Silence intended them to die, strength was their concern. Strength for Yeppeth. The children lifted themselves from the ground, only to be shoved down, devoid of hope. This had to be the final hour.
Was this the end?
J- "Come with me, oh children of Yeppeth. Do not be afraid, for I knew your father. He trusted me...Now you must do the same" said the light. Yeppeth's children trembled, but reached out their hands in faith. Surely, if their father had trusted him, they could do the same? In the light, they finally found a man, who was not much older than you or I. He had brown hair and kind eyes. He was the legend man that Yeppeth had saved. He was the impossible man that never aged.
C- The children's world was filled with trust. He was the raggedy man, he was hope. He was their symbol of trust in this desolation. He was the doctor. They take his hand, ready to embark on a journey. A journey of Remembrance, and new beginnings.
J- But the death was cunning. He waited until they were fast asleep and took the eldest child for his own. As if by some other force of nature, the children awoke to find their older sibling's lifeless body laying mangled over the cold cement. They screamed screams of terror, but this time, their father could not save them, nor could any raggedy man in a blue box. They cowered against a dead tree, waiting in silence as death approached them with glee.
"Give yourself to me, children of Yeppeth. Give yourself to me..Death is painless..live in the immortal world of the dead" He whispered to them, one blackened hand stretched out towards them. The second eldest child was a fool, for he choked out "I will go. I will live with father in the world of the dead". So death took him for his own.
The third eldest, however, was far more clever. He distracted Death by cutting his arm and gestured for the others to run. Tear streamed down their faces, cold hands grabbing for their brother but it was too late. Death consumed him and the others ran...they ran so very far.
But the children were weak. How much further could they run? How much longer was time itself? Could they go further or were they just walking a dead dog? In a darkned forest, they laid their heads under the silver stars and began to sing:Oh, Death, оh Death, oh Death,
Won't you spare me over til another year
But what is this, that I cant see
with ice cold hands taking hold of me
When God is gone and the Devil takes hold,
who will have mercy on your soul
Oh, Death, оh Death, oh Death,
No wealth, no ruin, no silver, no gold
Nothing satisfies me but your soul
Oh, Death,
Well I am Death, none can excel,
I'll open the door to heaven or hell.
Oh, Death, оh Death,
my name is Death and the end is here... "
