Liam one shot #1

I was so bored right now, I mean who wouldn't it's math!
"Miss y/l/n can you please answer the question?"
"Oh, um what?" I said and I heard some giggles from the entire class.
"Miss y/l/n if you continue like this I'm afraid that you will fail this class."
"I'm sorry sir, this won't happen again."
"I hope so. But you still need to get your grades up." I nodded and started to take notes.
Thankfully the bell rang a few minutes later the bell rang. As I was about to exit the class the teacher stopped me.
" Miss y/l/n could I talk to you for a second?" Well that got me really worried...
"Sir, if this is about my grades I promise I will study more and get the-"
" Look, I know you will try and do your best but I still need to get you a tutor that can help you." Okay that totally shocked me.
" A what?"
"Trust me y/n it's for your own good. And in fact I know who your tutor will be!"
Oh god, please let it be someone I get along with, please!
"OK then, who it is?"
"Liam Dunbar!"
Is he for real now!? God I'd rather have anyone but him to tutor me!!
You may wonder why I'm making such a big deal about it. Well, me and Liam were friends and I used to have a huge crush on him. But when he found out he stopped talking to me and man did I cry for days. And now that he's going to be my tutor, things are gonna get realllyyyy awkward...
While I was leaving, I heard Mr. Robinson (a/n he he I bet your mind went to nick robinson !!) call Liam's name. Great just my luck!
"Yes Mr.Robinson?"
"You see, Y/n here is failing this class and I wanted to ask you if you could tutor her for a while to help her get her grades up."
Liam just stood there staring at me and the teacher with a shocked look on his face.
"Why me sir?" He asked awkwardly. He was just doing this because he doesn't want to be my tutor because he doesn't want to talk to me as I told you before.
"Because Liam you're the best student in this class!"
"But sir I can't do it I'm busy with lacrosse practice I can't tu-"
"You're tutoring her end of discussion Liam. Well, have a nice day!" He said as he made this way out of class.
"Well, I have lacrosse practice after school but I will be home by 6:00 . Do you wanna come over at 6:30? " he asked me. Wow that's the first time he talked to me in like to years! But then I realised that I hadn't responded and that eventually I'd have to talk.
"Um yeah, yeah sure 6:30 is OK." I smiled -kinda- and made my way out of here. "Well, see ya later." I said and waved." See ya." He said.
