Chapter 4

Jadlyn POV

I opened my eyes to meet a pair of silvery ones. They glowed in the dark and his hair a light grey, his skin pale and fair but toned with six-packs. What does he train himself with clothes on or something? He was topless only wearing a pair of black berms that was cut of to the knee.

Fear started to overwhelm me. Who is this man and what am i doing with him?

Before i could ask he answered like he read my thoughts "I'm your guardian, to guard you from danger, hurt and pain"

I stared at him. What is he talking about? He is my guardian? Unknown anger suddenly took over and i shouted " What makes you think you are my guardian? If you were my guardian, i would not have been in this state, look at me! I am abused! Tortured by my mate! Yet, you my guardian did not do anything?!"

"I-i-i am sorry" he said with his head hung low.

I signed and said "Look i don't believe in this guardian thing so you can go and thanks for looking after while i was out"

"But i was instructed by your mother to look after you" he said.

"Mother?"

"The moon goddess" he replied.

Suddenly i recalled that dream with the moon goddess, so she really is my mother. Why did she not help me then? She should have made my mate learn his lesson and accept me willingly as his mate! But why?! I let out a fustrated sigh and said "What's your name"

"Damien Willson"

"I will call you Will, kay?" i asked.

"Yes miss"

"Call me Jadlyn"

"Yes mis- Jadlyn"

"Ok so you have any ideas how to get life going?" i ask, as i stood up combing my hair back and looking at myself. I was in a pair of loose tees and underwear that was pinned up at the side. Apparently this was not what i was in before i was out.

I looked at Will and saw him wearing only a berms so i asked "Anything under that", pointing to the berms. He shook his head showing no emotions. I sighed, he saw me whole body nude. Nice going.

I look at him and said "C'mon we gotta get going"

"To where?" he asked.

I then felt my neck burn and i screamed in pain and Will gasped. I looked down onto my shoulder and saw an 'X' mark and realised my mate has disconnected his bond with me and mated to another wolf. I felt my tears welling up.

"Look for a pack to join" i said.

"Ok"

"But first train me, I have a revenge to plot" i said as i panted.

-3 months later-

"Ready! 20 rounds around the lake in 10 mins, 50 crunches, 4 planks, 4 leg race and 3 sets of left and right side plank, all 1 min" i said.

We started running as everything that we see becomes a blur. I was tired out after 6 rounds despite the fact the lake was as small as a basketball court. I'm not athelethic that is why. I pushed myself. Ocassionally catching up with Will and ocassionally i fell behind. Halfway through the last round we sprinted. My sprinting was good so i manage to catch of with Will. I panted for breath and started our usual stretching exercises.

After that we did crunches and planks and the rest. I almost gave up halfway through again. But i cant or else i have to redo. I braced myself for the last side plank and held on as long as i can. "Down!!" Will shouted. I slowly lowered myself and lay next to a tree. I gasped for air as i headed to the lake for water.
