I was on a certain island, yeah, the sea was garbage and decided to throw me onto another island, and when I say "throw," I mean it literally.

"Couldn't you have done that a little more gently?" I muttered under my breath.

"Ummm, no!" the sea answered with unnecessary cheerfulness.

My eye twitched. That little piece of crap...

Hades buzzed angrily in agreement. Apparently, the ride had been too rough for her too. I'm not even going to deal with the how—my sanity is already on its last legs here!

I walked through the forest, humming a nice tune. "Actually, it's pretty quiet here," I said with a smile. Maybe, just maybe, I could finally get a break.

Suddenly, I felt something, but it was strange. Not people, not animals—it felt like something was pulling me in a certain direction. My eyes flicked to the side, narrowing in suspicion. It was just like that feeling I had the second before I entered this island...

Noooo way this is happening again, right?

This isn't going to turn into a horror movie, right??

Suddenly, my Haki picked up movement, and a few dozen spears were pointed at me. Leading them were forest people.

Okay... maybe I spoke too soon...

"What is an outsider doing in these forests?" A young man, probably in his twenties, said. His face was painted with red and yellow tribal markings, and he wore a scowl.

Oh God. Did he just say outsider?? What kind of island did the sea throw me onto?! Crap, they're not cannibals, are they??

I raised my hands with a nervous chuckle. "Now, now, let's not be hasty, alright?" I said, taking a step back. The weapons clanked in warning.

My hand twitched. I really didn't want to fight, dammit, I had no energy for this crap right now. But luckily—or rather, for the convenience of this goddamn plot—a geezer appeared.

No, seriously, how old is this guy??

He's so old that I don't even know what age to guess. His eyes were white and milky, clearly blind. His face was painted like the others, with red and white markings, and a kind smile stretched across his lips.

"Do not do this, Kanji," the old man said in an ancient voice.

Kanji narrowed his eyes at me for a moment but quickly lowered his weapon, and the others followed suit.

Oh. Okay... good to know that the geezer is probably the leader of the cannibals.

The old man's eyes locked onto mine, and suddenly, a shiver ran down my spine.

"We have been waiting for you for a very long time, Yuki."

...

Oh no. No, no, no, no.

There's scary crap, and then there's terrifying crap. This falls into the latter category of bullshit.

No, this is a whole different level of scary crap.

Dude, seriously, why???

Why make this creepy????

Because someone you've never met before saying your name is totally not scary at all. Not to mention how suspicious it is.

Dude, no! Absolutely not! In every movie, you know things are about to go to shit when an old man says your name. And "We've been waiting for you"?! What the hell?!
