Ghosts. The spirits of those that departed from the world of the living, yet still linger in the physical plain.
That said, a ghost is a dead person. Those that die don't age in a litteral sense.
Though their philosophy and overall mental faculties may alter with time, the appearence of a ghost doesn't change with the passing of time. A ghost might look like a child, yet be hundred or even thousand of years old.
Depending on the time they spend, they might forget certain things. For example, Amidamaru has no idea who this Tokagero is supposed to be.
Kumagawa:[Well, this is awkard.]
Tokagero:Hey, don't say you forgot who I am! I was the leader of a band of bandits you killed six hundred years ago!
Amidamaru was still clueless who the ghost before him was. A fact made clear by his confused face, which only served to infuriate Tokagero even further.
Kumagawa:[Bandits...But weren't bandits as many as rats back then?]
Yoh:Right? Man, the past must have been pretty scary...
Anna:Doesn't that mean he was just weak?
Sukuna:Seems like it.
Amidamaru:That's right. I killed a lot of people in the past. I can't remember everyone.
Tokagero:What!?
Tokagero gritted his teeth at the dismissive attitude of those that were his enemies. He gripped the back of Manta's shirt as he brought the short closer, holding an large object covered by a purple cloth to Manta's throat.
Tokagero:Damn it, he really doesn't remember me! Don't underestimate me! What about tjis little brat here!?
Anna:Go ahead, I don't really care.
Tokagero:What!?
This time the shock didn't belong to Tokagero alone. Both Yoh and Amidamaru turned to Anna with wide eyes.
Kumagawa let out a small chuckle at the dismissive and blunt reply. This girl really reminded him of Aoki Aka.
But of course, Anna was already engaged to Yoh. Most people might be surprised to know that Kumagawa Misogi does have something resembling morals.
For one, he wasn't a homewrecker. So he will not ask Anna to try a naked apron for him.
Kumagawa turned when he felt the air shiftimg behind him. Sukuna had lost any and all interes, instead deciding to turn his back to the situation.
Sukuna:This is a waste of time. Brat, I'm going back inside.
And as such the malevolent spirit had phased through the wall, returning back inside. Seeing all this unfold, Yoh turned to Kumagawa.
Yoh:You're not gonna stop him?
Kumagawa:[No, no. I'm a firm believer in free will.]
Yoh:...Well, I guess he doesn't have to fight if he doesn't want to. But I really thought he's the type that'd like to fight no matter what.
Kumagawa:[Ah, you're not exactly wrong. But you're not right either.]
Yoh:Huh?
Kumagawa:[Let's just say I'm familiar with Sukuna-chan's type. He likes to fight, that's for sure. Half because he likes the violence and half because it helps him show off his superiority. Because of his strenght, he sees most people as maggots. Something fun to torment and didgusting, both not so much that he outright hates them. As such, there are those type of dull maggots people like Sukuna-chan don't even bother with looking at. It's pretty rude if you ask me, but I'm used to dealing with people like that.]
