They just finished clearing the area for another operation
The Commander used more refined tactics taking on the Raptures as he was back to where he started during the One Year War
Using a Bait to lure in High Class Raptures and using ambush tactics that helped them 'stall' their advance until the first line of mobile suits were ready to be deployed
Before it was a costly operation as they simply just threw bodies at the Raptures in an attempt to buy time
But this time, they will regret facing the Commander and his Nikkes
The squads were in cover and in flanking positions
West - Goddess Squad
Red Hood: man why are we waiting so long?
Snow White: I guess you never learned patience after all these years.
Red Hood: and you learned how to be a stiff, I miss the cute version of you.

Jaune: Snow White and cute? Are you talking about the same person?
Snow White: I can see you from here Commander, and My Rifle is fully loaded.
Jaune: and my Hyper Bazooka is aimed right at you, so it's a Mutually Assured Destruction.
Anis: wow. The Commander got some sass.
Rapi: everyone keep the comms chatter to a minimum, we don't know if the Raptures have taken the bait yet.

Neon: what is this bait you set up master?
Jaune: Raptures have a battery lifespan right? The Bait is an object that emits a certain signature to the Raptures.
Rapi: they will salvage it for parts....quite the ingenious plan.
Jaune: during our early days the Raptures made a mistake fighting prolonged battles.
Countless men and women gave away their lives to keep them at bay until we had the mobile suits ready.
He then heard something
It was multiple squads of Raptures
He called the other squads with hand signals
East - Scouts and Seraphim
Delta: ( hand signal ) enemy incoming south.
North - Electric Shock
Electric and Trony were preparing in their vantage point
Once the Raptures moved passed their camouflaged units they proceed towards the bait
And when they reached it the Commander charged in surprising everyone
Rapi: Commander!!!
Anis: what is he doing!?
The Raptures saw him and unlike previous Encounters they were really aggressive at him as if the Raptures and him had a grudge
He then slides to avoid the incoming fire and braced the Hyper Bazooka to the ground and fired upwards
Once it was above the target it's propellant cut short and it then turns down and scatters into multiple barrages of beam particles tearing at the Raptures Shields and Shell weakening them
Jaune: NOOOOOW!!!!!!!!!!
