Destiny drags me to the main bulletin.
"This is it, star!" She squealed.
She looks for my name.
She gasps.

"What?"

"You made it in! Welcome to the cheer family, Rosie!" She hugged me.
Great...
"Yay me!"I clapped.

"So I'll see you at the gym! After school, ok!" She said and ran off.

It was lunch time. Today I'm  wearing cheetah leggings, I repeat CHEETAH LEGGINGS! It's horrible, why do people wear this! Might as well run off to the safari!
I sit with the guys.

"Saw your name on the bulletin! Congrats!" Cameron said.

"Yeah..."

"So, pizza after school?" Nate suggested.

"Yeah, and wings!" Matt added.

"I can't go, cheer." I sighed.

"Darn, we were going to see who will finish the Deluxe pizza in 10 minutes!" Nash said.

"I wish guys, but I can't."
The bell rang and I headed off to class.
...
I walked in the cheer gym.
"Welcome newbie!" Destiny hugged me.

"Cool down on the hugging." I chuckled.

"Welcome, here's your uniform and cheer chants and schedule." Team captain said.

"Great"

"First game is Friday and you have 4 days to practice with us, got it. Memorize the chants and try stretching in your uniform, at first it's hard to move in it, so get used to it."

"Okey dokie"

"I never thought a person like you would honestly try out, have I mentioned that?" She said.

"Yeah. So"

"Anways, start stretching."  She demanded.
I began to stretch.
Most girls on the team kept staring at me and giggling.
I hate it when people do that.
I really want to sock them on the face and shove them in mud, but nooo, fighting isn't lady like!

After 10 minutes of stretching, we began to learn a routine.
Ariana and Tasha were next to me.
At first the routine went well but then either Tasha or Ariana would hit me or kick me.

"Hey, calm down! I don't remember the routine having kicks and slaps!"

"Sorry, Rosie. It's just that your too close" Ariana said.

"Sorry"
...
"Learn your routine everyday, no breaks!" Jessica said.

"Yes m'am" I said back.
Cameron walked in the gym.

"Babe, I didn't know you were coming for me!" Ariana jumped on him.

"Aha, actually babe, I'm here for Rosie. Her mom asked me to pick her up." Cameron said

"Oh... Well she's over there..."

"Aye." We did out handshake.

"Wow, well Cameron and I have a handshake too." Ariana said.

"The hug and kiss. That's just a gesture"

"So" she rolled her eyes.

"Well we gotta get going. Steak for dinner. Can't miss that!" I said. "Piggy back ride?"

"Anything for you buddy." Cameron carried me on.
...
"So your first game to cheer is on Friday? That's soon" mom said.

"Yeah but it's ok."

"Omg, my sister is finally doing this! In proud" Jackie said.

"Shut up" I said.

"Then I hope we won if you'll be cheering us on" Cameron said.

"Hope so." I smiled.
We were done with dinner and I walked Cameron home like always.

"Shawn won the pizza contest. But he threw up after" Cameron chuckled.

"Aww, I wanted to see that! Shawn hardly does anything risky and always has his head stuck in a book! That's a first and I missed it." I sighed

"Hope he will do more things in the furture. Aha remember when we were small and we told him about what we do to Billy."

"And he said 'That's not a very benevolent thing to do. You are so destructive' and we didn't know a word he said!" I laughed.

"Haha, good times" Cameron said.

"Yeah, I miss it."

"Me too."
I look up into his eyes.
I honestly think we both miss the old me and the old destructive things we used to do.
It's just doesn't feel the same.
Something is missing and I want it back.
