Now that she was about half of the way through her opponents and fellow recruits, it was starting to take a toll on her body. There was a smattering of cuts, scratches, bruises galore, and everything hurt like a mother.
But now she was getting into the brackets that held some more familiar characters. Sure, there were a handful of nameless rejects that she had no idea what their movesets or skills were, but she was actually getting excited for her dance with Hina, Smoker, and X-Drake.
Captain Cutthroat didn't seem to see or share in her enthusiasm, however, "Hey monkey brat, are you sure that you want to keep going?" he asked with, dare she think it, concern?
She scoffed playfully, "I can do this all day."
She'd be damned if she stopped now when she was almost there.

Garp and some of the higher-ups were watching the proceedings below with no small amount of interest. It wasn't every day that a recruit of all things wanted to make such a challenge.
Garp laughed at his daughter's tenacity, not belittling her ambition; no, he was proud of how far she had come in those few months. She'd really turned herself around and shown him that steely determination of hers.
"Garp!!!" Shouted Sengoku as he steamed, this was not how this trial was supposed to go in the slightest! "Why is it always your family that is like this?!" he demanded as he threw down the report in his hands and turned to look at the chuckling idiot.
"Dahahaha!!! That's my daughter!!! Ha ha ha ha!!" he gave a full-bellied laugh as Aokiji even lifted his sleeping mask up to take a peek at the commotion going on during what was supposed to be boring trainee trials.
Borsalino leaned forward from his chair, interested in the fight with a small "hoooh?"
Akainu stood off to the side with his arms folded. He wasn't sure why he had to be present when there were much more important missions that he had to be on.
"Ah, calm down, Senny~ My daughter knows what she's doing." He waved off his friend and crushed a senbei. Besides, he thought belatedly, she said she was going to fight all fifty trainees, and fight fifty trainees she will. There was one thing about Ruwa that people weren't aware of, but they would learn in time: If she said she would, she would. He had no doubts about her strength, not with that sweet, excited smile of hers. It was the same one that his late wife had when she was having fun. No, he knew that she'd be just fine.

Ruwa rolled her shoulders and gave a smile, "Thanks for the concern, Sir, but I am ready to go when you are." Her being reincarnated into the Monkey family was no mistake; they were all as stubborn as iron.
Captain Cutthroat grumbled and shook his fist at her, "Watch yourself, brat!" he frowned but motioned for her next opponent to be brought down. "Forget I said anything! Just thought that you were slowing down is all."
She giggled at that, "Sorry, but I'm not out for the count just yet. I still need twenty-one or so to go." She'd dismantled the other thirty and their leaders after all.
"Stubborn idiotic Monkey's..." He shook his head at her; she had to be hurting. Ruwa straightened up and watched as a trainee came down from the stands, stumbling on a piece of debris from one of the fights he had almost tipped over, but was able to save himself in a beautiful rendition of Michael Jackson's Anti-gravity lean.
"Wao..." she admitted as she gave a slight clap in praise for his neat save.
He flushed red with embarrassment; even if he had managed a sick save from faceplanting, it was still mortifying to do so while everyone was watching.
