Lexy's PoV

"Hey I found a case!" I yelled. I've been searching for days for a big case, and I think I finally found it. Lori, Em, and I have done a few salt and burns, but nothing real serious. Except a few times when we caught wind of something nasty. Then we were dangerous to anything.

"What is it this time, Lex?" Lori asked. I threw today's paper on the little table she and Em were sitting at. She picked up the paper and started reading.

"There have been 3 different deaths. Each involving a lot of blood. But get this, I've done some research and none of the families are related in any way. Like, they're completely different. The survivors were all men. The women were killed while the men survived." I explained. I didn't know what we were dealing with but I know it's dangerous, and nasty.

"Vengeful spirit, maybe?" Em chriped up.

"No, I don't think it is, Em." Lori said. She was in deep thought, from the look on her face.

"Well, I think we need to check out the crime scene," I said. Em and Lori nodded and got ready. We jumped in Emily's Impala and started to drive to the most recent crime scene. On the way there, the scanner started going crazy. The police said there was another killing and I just happened to catch the address. Good thing we keep 3 spare suits in the trunk.

"Guys, new plan. We're going to split up. Em, I think you should go to the scene we were heading to. Lori, maybe you could go and start interrogating one of the families. I'll go to the most recent killing." They nodded and we had to turn around to go to our separate cars. I jumped in my GTO and drove to 5497 Walkie Street.

When I got there, the police were investigating the crime scene. I already had my suit on and made sure I had my badge. Then I walked up to the scene. I started to cross the line when someone grabbed my arm. I whipped around, prepared to fight, but they let go of me.

The man who grabbed my arm was taller than me, but that wasn't saying anything because I was the shortest out of our little group. The thing that stood out to me was his beautiful green eyes and small smirk.

"Who are you?" I said. He might have pretty eyes, but he still tried to stop me. He reached in his suit and pulled out a badge.

"I'm Agent Shaw, with the FBI." He said, his smirk growing bigger. I realized who he is, or really what he is.

"Oh really, well, I'm Agent McGee." I smirked back, pulling out my badge. His eyes widened in surprise. "Besides, you don't look like the FBI type, Agent Shaw."

"Let me take over from here, McGee. You don't know what you're dealing with." The man said. I just chuckled.

"Oh, yes I do. Now why don't you go run along. Go find yourself some other place to be." I said, turning around and walking to the door. I walked inside and showed my badge to one of the cops.

"What happened here, Sheriff?" I asked. The place was a complete mess. Papers were everywhere, glass was scattered around the floor, and blood was covering everything.

"Well, Agent, I think we've got a serial killer on our hands. As you probably heard, there have been 3 other deaths, and they've all been like this one. I really don't. . ." The Sheriff trailed off and I sensed someone behind me. "Who are you?"

"I'm Agent Shaw," the green-eyed man said. A hand reached over my shoulder to show the Sheriff a badge. I gritted my teeth, he really gets on my nerves.

"He's my partner," I interjected. I felt him poke me in the back and it took all I had not to turn around and punch him. "Well, sir, I think me and my partner are going to look around a little bit. Thank you for the information." I smiled at the Sheriff and walked closer to where the most blood was. Agent Shaw followed.
