Tear in you eyes

Then, as the music started playing I realised it was one of mine that I had recorded with Rob ages ago. We were planning to show it to Carla on her birthday.
I looked around the room and almost everyone had tears in their eyes. "This is lovely" Deirdre whispered to Ken. Ken nodded.
When the music stopped, Billy (the vicar) walked up to the podium. "That was on Robs playlist with all his 'favourite songs', the song was by Chloe, who I believe is like his little sister, and Rob himself. We're going to start by singing a hymn for rob." Billy started and everyone else soon joined in.

"And now I believe we have some speeches, the first from his ex-partner Tracy"
Tracy took out a paper from her pocket and places it on the podium. She took a deep breath and began to read.
"Rob, you were the one who changed everything for me, who loved me for who I was and even made me better. We had a great time together, even if we had troubles, we pulled through them, mainly because we actually caused more trouble... You weren't just my partner, you were about to be my husband... And trust me, you were brave for even making it to the altar."
Everyone laughed.
"We were partners in crime and everyone knows I'm not religious or anything daft like that, but I'd like to think we would be reunited... I love you rob, and I probably won't ever get over you" Tracy finished her speech and sat down, everyone clapped and Amy hugged her. Michelle was next.
She walked up and took a deep breath, like Tracy did.
"Rob was like a brother to me, even more so these past few years because all we did was argue"
Carla smiled at Chelle.
"I've known him since we were kids, and he even baby sat me a few times. I mean he was funny and caring deep down but some how he always knew how to wind me up. Then I suppose I did him aswell. When Rob told me that I was his first kiss I actually thought he was joking, but he wasn't. He even tried it on with me after that. He was annoying and such an idiot, but at the same time he always knew how to cheer me up. He cared for me in like a sister when my brothers couldn't. And I hope I replayed him when he came back from prison. I didn't think I was going to have to do this again for a long time, especially since rob always thought he was so hard!
But I adored rob, and I will do for ever."
Michelle sniffed and dried her eyes. She sat down next to Carla and me, and Carla dried Michelle's eyes with her tissues. Carla was crying aswell, she whispered to Michelle,"Chelle I can't do it, the speech" Michelle, who was still crying herself, said "you don't have to love" she rubs Carlas back and this time, Michelle dried Carlas eyes.
