Sammy's point of view

Kian takes me to a little coffee shop, about a block away from the park. We order and he insisted on paying.

"Thanks." I smile when he sets the steaming cup on the table.

"No problem." He smiles. I swear I melted. "So tell me about yourself." He takes a drink.

"Well.. I'm eighteen, turning nineteen in two days. I got kicked out of college, both of my parents are dead. I'm not that interesting, what about you?" I say and take a drink.

" well. I'm nineteen, I never went to college. My dad is in jail, my moms in mental institution. I'm not interesting." He shrugs.

"We're fucked up." I shake my head.

"No your not." He says.

"I'm supposed to take six different types of pills, I couldn't go to my dads funeral. When I came back from college I almost died-literally. He choked me. Then cut my arm, raped me. Then got in a car crash. He got amnesia, I had sex with my best friend. I'm pregnant. Here we are." I smile.

"Well, my dad abused me and my mother, she tried killing us. He went to jail, she went to a mental institution. I sold drugs, then stopped. Got a job at target. Met JC we dated. I got pregnant. He left I lost the baby. Here we are." He smiles back.

"Yup. We're fucked up." I chuckle.

"We are." He nods.

"Let's go somewhere." I says.

"Where?" He asks.

"It's a surprise." I smile taking his hand and pulling him down the street.

I take him into the woods.

"Are you going to kill me?" He asks.

"No." I roll my eyes and smile. "Not yet," I joke.

"Here." I say.

In front of us is a cliff, and there's a river.

"Wow." He breathes out as we sit on the edge.

"I found this when I was thirteen." I smile at the memory.

"Wait. Sammy who choked you? And who died? Who got amnesia?" He asks.

"Oh. Skate. He has a multiple personality disorder. Nate choked me, raped me, cut me. Nathan died. And Skate got amnesia." I say in one breath.

We sits in silence for about five minutes before he speaks up again.

"Sammy?" He says.

"Yeah."

"Uh this is random but uh, can I kiss you?"
