Chapter 3- Theeny
You slowly open your eyes as the van came to a sudden stop. Everyone gathers around the one way windows and you join them to see what was so fascinating. The van has been parked in front of a tall black wall, secured with a wire fence. There's an immediate end to the dirt road as it changes into asphalt.
You see some Patrols outside trying to get the fence gate open. The gate hovers a few centimeters above the line between dirt and blacktop. Wind blows dirt particles up at the Patrols working at the buttons and levers that can open the gate. Finally, one of the men pushes aside the others and you see the gate slowly creak open, the van starts moving again and all ten of you sit back down.
Feyth comes up to you as the loudspeaker squeaks and Mimi is on again.
"Welcome to the Positive Side, Sector 5 Positives. It is Mimi again. This will be your home for the next few years, and it'll take some getting used to, compared to your Sector 5 homes. As we approach the center of the city, you will see all the buildings that you will be going in. To the left, is the training building. Most of your time in the Positive side will be spent here. The only times that won't be spent in that building is meals and after lights out. There is a very strict training schedule that all trainers must follow, so be on time to all meals and other activities."
You look out to see a giant dome. It's the largest building you can see in the distance.
"On your right, are the cabins. Each of you will be sharing a cabin with your trainer. Sometimes, you and your trainer may have to share a cabin with another pair." Mimi continues, as you look over to see rows and rows of houses, nicer but smaller than the houses in your home sector. "Up ahead the cabins is the dining hall. Here, you will have meals. Other areas are restricted unless said otherwise by your trainer or cabin senior. Any questions can be answered by the cabin seniors. Thank you for riding with us. Enjoy your stay on the Positive side."
As Mimi finishes talking, the van pulls up beside the cabins, where a crowd of trainers. They hold cards in front of them with names scribbled messily on them. You step out of the van after many others, after the Patrols slide the doors open, and you find yourself behind Samikah, again.
One of the trainers steps out from the crowd. "Hello everyone! My name is Rowan Noble, and I am the head trainer here! Behind me are your personal trainers, and each of them have a card with a name on it. Please find your trainer! All your bags will be brought to your cabin later."
You slip past Samikah and look for anyone holding a sign that say your name. Finally, you spot a girl holding the card with your name. She's talking to another with a card reading Samikah Chase. The girl spots you looking at her and waves you over.
She smiles, "You must be Raygen."
"Yeah."
"Well, nice to meet you. I will be your personal trainer for the next few years that you will stay here. My name is Heather Pyrce. You can call me Heather, or Miss Pyrce, whatever you come up with- as long as I'm okay with it." Heather winks at you. "Anyways, this will be one of your cabin mates- Petra Alabone, Samikah's trainer. Once we find her, we'll get going."
Once Heather goes back to talking to Petra, you think about how annoying Samikah is, and you'll be living with her for the next 2 years at least. It makes you roll your eyes and gag.
"Who are you rolling your eyes at?" You hear. It's so annoyingly recognizable. Samikah.
You turn away from her and walk to Heather, telling her you found the other one. She smiles back and motions you all to follow her.
"Okay, so you guys will be in cabin 37. Don't forget. Let's go inside and cover some rules." You step into the cabin after Heather and Petra.
To your left is the largest room, filled with couches and coffee tables. "This is our common room," Heather says, putting air quotes around common room. "Anyone is welcome here at anytime."
After the common room there's a hallway leading to the back of the cabin, along the hall there are four doorways, two on each side. Heather leads be all the way to the back while Petra takes Samikah into the first room.
Heather enters the far right room. "So, this will be your room. I will live right across the hallway, so anytime you need me, come across the hall. My door will always be open and if I'm not in the cabin, Petra will be for sure." She goes into the room and leans down to you, pressing something into your hand. "I'm going to entrust you to keep the extra key. Just in case something happens..." Then she leaves you to explore the cabin.
You look around the small room. There's a medium sized window on one of the walls, looking over a thin, long river- just like the ones back home. The walls are a mint green, and the floors are hardwood with a white carpet. Next to the carpet is your bed; the bedspread and most of the pillows are a basic white, and some throw pillows are green. A small dresser and vanity are next to a large bookcase, filled with books on survival and fighting. Your closet is is next to the bookcase. Besides that is a door, which you assume leads to the bathroom you share with the joy herself, Samikah.
You stick your head out the door and look down the hallway. Nothing. The cabin is quiet. Except for the faint sound of someone washing their hands. Stepping across the hall, you peek into Heather's room. It looks amazing and you spot Heather laying on the bed with her eyes closed. Not wanting to bother her too much, you walk into your room, trying to stay silent while walking across the old, creaky hardwood floor.
Finally, you relax for possibly the first time today, as you lay down on the soft mattress and recount the morning events.

I hope you liked this chapter! I had a lot of fun writing it, even though we had a lot of sorting out to do with it... Kitty helped so much in this chapter! (For once. jkjk >.<).
And also, we've figured out a updating schedule for the fall! We will try our best to follow it. So, I will update on Sunday, then Kitty will post on Tuesday, I'll post again on Friday and Kitty'll post on Saturday! (3 days of updates in a row! Yay!) If we can get more updates in we definitely will!!!
