*Chapter 1*

It was 4am and she was starting to get worried. Her man should have been home by now. Everytime she called his phone it went straight to voice mail. She was about to call again when she heard the keys jiggling in the door. She jumped up out of their king size bed and pranced down the stairs. He staggered in the door and she immediately smelled alcohol. She wasn't scared because he'd never laid hands on her sober or intoxicated. She immediately began to question him.

"Where have you been?" She questioned.

      "Out" he quickly replied.

Anger started to seize her and she jump in his face and started screaming at him.

"Why haven't you been returning my calls? I've been worried sick!"

"I was out with some co workers"

"I can't keep doing you're stressing me out, I'm always up late waiting for you, we're just falling apart."

He walked to the couch and sat down after taking off his coat and putting on the coat rack.

      "Leave" He replied nonchalantly.

She rubbed the inside of her ear because she was sure she didn't hear what she just thought she heard.

"I'm sorry what?" That was all her brain allowed her to say.

"You heard me leave then. Since I'm so called stressing you out" he replied making quotation marks in the air. He was tired of coming home to the same thing. There was never any food on the table, they never made love anymore and he was just tired. Maybe it was time to move on.
