**Teyanna's POV**
Teyanna thanked god because as soon as she got outside a cab was coming down the block. After whistling for the cab and getting in she told the man her destination. Closing her eyes she layed her head back on the seat. Her phone started to ring but she didn't opened her eyes to answer, she soon would regret it.
"Hello"
"Hey Teyanna, nice to hear from you."
Teyanna got mad all over again as she saw the only man she'd ever loved giving himself to another man.
"What the fuck do you want Jorge?"
"Look, I know you're mad but we need to meet. It's important."
She didn't like the sound of that. He sounded serious. So, she took a deep breath and asked him where.
"At the Marriott, I'm already here. Oh and I know you have my black card too."
Teyanna went to go reply but the line went dead and right after the cab stopped. She payed her fee, gathered her things, and walked into the hotel. Not having to do much looking she spotted Jorge sitting in one of the chairs. She had to do a double take at how much he'd changed since their last altercation. Not only did he look like he lost a lot of weight but the once smooth skin he had looked as if he'd bathed in baby power. She slowly walked up to him and took a seat beside him.
"What is this about?"
"I have to tell you something." He replied looking at his entwined fingers.
"Spit it out Jorge."
"I'm H.I.V positive. I need you to get tested and make sure you're okay."
Teyanna couldn't really understand what he said after the H.I.V part. She froze, she felt as if she'd had been paralyzed. Coming back to reality she felt hot tears trailing down her face. She wanted so bad to yell and punch and kick him but something inside her held her back.
"How long have you knew?"
Jorge head sprang up at how surprisingly calm she was. They both were shocked.
"I..I just found out."
Teyanna was determined to get some type of closure from him before the conversation ended.
"How long have you been gay Jorge?"
"Maybe we should discuss this in your room"
All the calmness went out the window as she stood up and yelled at him.
"YOU WANT TO DISCUSS THIS IN PRIVATE NOW HUH? YOU'VE BEEN LEADING ME ON AND NOW YOU WANT TO DISCUSS THIS IN PRIVATE?"
Jorge sprang up out the chair and told her to calm down because she was making an unnecessary scene. After counting to ten she closed her eyes and took a deep slow breath. After sitting down she continued.
"How long have you been gay Jorge?" She repeated her question through gritted teeth.
"For about ten months" Jorge replied mumbling.
Scooting to the end of the chair, with her teeth still gritted she asked him the one question that sat heavy on her heart, why?
Looking into her eyes before he replied he too scooted to the edge of his chair, leaving little space between him.
"I never and I mean never wanted to hurt you. I loved you with all my heart and never wanted you to get hurt. It all started after we lost our 3rd child. It was just so heavy on me I had to find a way to release stress I.."
Teyanna held up her hand to stop him. Feeling the tears about to escape her eyes at the mention of the lose if their 3rd child she started to speak.
"Don't you dare talk about the loss of our children when you have no idea what it feels like to have the false hope of a baby being inside you. You have no idea what it feels like to hate yourself because you feel as though you're not women enough and you DEFINITELY have no idea what it feels like to think God hates you because you terminated his first blessing he gave you."
By now she had tears coming down her eyes as she finally explained to him how she felt. The tears were no longer from sadness and hurt but of relief.
"I think we both know wha we had is gone and there's no reviving it. I messed up something good I had on my journey to discover who I really am and for that I apologize. I'm sorry for everything I put you through and for not being there physically and mentally. If you'd like you can keep the black card. I just don't want to leave hear on bad terms."
Wiping her tears, Teyanna replied.
"You know what Jorge, I except your apology. You did hurt me but I think its time to move on, being as though you already did."
Jorge couldn't help but chuckle at the being as though you already did part because no matter how sincere she was she always had to add her sarcasm to it. Teyanna continued.
"I wish nothing but the best for you and I hope you have a good life. I'm always here for you if you need me, but you can have your card. I'll be by the house to get the rest of my things tomorrow around 2."
With them both standing up they shared a brief hug and parted ways. Once Teyanna entered the suite she went straight to her ipad and googled the nearest clinic.
Teyanna started to think about the possibility of being H.I.V positive.
