Finally Found You

Chapter Three

7 years ago at the age of 21.... I came to New York City. I never had been out of my town ever. But I don't have any other choice. I got admission in collage for graphics designing. I was standing in front of my collage gate with back pack and my small duffle bag. Piece of paper in my hand which has my class number and my room number. I was confused. I don't know which way to go. I saw a girl in tight blue jeans and white shirt. She is nice long brown hair. She was talking with some guy with paper in her hand and her backpack on side. They both saw me as I went near to them.

I: "Excuse me... "They both smile at me. I smile to them too

I: "can you help me with this. I am new here and I don't know which way to go"

The girl took the paper from my hand and a big smile appears on her face.

"Hi. I am Layla. And we are going in a same class and room. So we are now classmate and as well as roommate. ": She said.

I: "Hi. I am Nicole. It's nice to meet you".

Layla: "this is Duncan. ... My boy friend. He is studying here in Business management department." And she point out a finger towards her boy friend.

He was tall may be around 6' with dark brown hair and blur eyes. He smiled at me shake my hand. I smiled at him too.

Then we decided to leave so I and Layla went to our department and Duncan went to his department.

"I know him since I was 4. He was 6 at that time. Our parents are good friends so as we." Layla said. She continues "I don't know when we start loving each other. We used to be with each other every time. Wherever he goes I follow or vice versa. Then one day out of no where he suddenly kiss me and said he likes me. He was 20 and I was 18... I was like ghost. Don't know what to say. He shakes me and all I did was just kiss him back. From that day we are boyfriend and girlfriend. : She said so fast and laughs so loud after saying this. She was blushing actually.

Somehow I feel we will be good friends. She was here not for study actually but she just wants to be near to Duncan. So she took admission here. Whatever I found a good friend. Years past and we finished our collage. I did top and got gold medal. Me, Layla and Duncan were like best friends in those 2 years.

Duncan and Layla know about my family and about my past. So they never asked regarding to them. I got so many job calls from well known company but I promised Duncan that no matter what happen I will work with you in your company.

After finishing collage it was time for me to start finding house for me. So that I can settle my self before starting my job at Maxwell Enterprise. Duncan told me to move with him and Layla. But I don't want to do that. I don't have that much money either to rent a house in good area. So the place I choose was very small and even in very dark part of city. People don't come here at night. I was quite risky. But somehow I have to survive here for atleast 1-2 year before finding another place.
