Chapter Fourteen

Me: "guys, please. I don't want any man in my life. I know his feeling for me. He told me that he like me and wants to give a chance to us. I do feel something for him too. But what happen once he got to know about me. Does he same then? Doesn't he gonna leave me? I am not giving him any indication that i like him because i don't want to hurt him. It doesn't matter how much it hurts me... he doesn't deserve me. He deserves someone with good past. Not like mine."

Duncan: "But Nick. This is not the solution. Give him chance may be he can understand. You know that it wasn't your mistake she trap you and used you. and about that accident, you saved her without caring about your self. One day she will realise that whatever they did it's wrong."

Me: "can we leave it for now. I don't want to think about it. And about CJ... i'll think later on." And i unlock my phone to read CJ's message.

"hey, Nick... i got a call from someone so i had to go. It's a kind of emergency. I'll be back in few days. Just take care of your self. Miss you. Think about what i said."

A small smile appears on my face. And same time Duncan cleared his throat. I looked up and our client is here. So we start meeting.

CJ's P.O.V

I called her from the car. But she didn't pick up. I tried again and again for 5 times. But she didn't pick up the phone. May be she was sleeping so I send her message.

Duncan drops me to the airport. I am going to meet Nicole's brother. My informer called me and told me about his location. My man is waiting for me there. I want to know about her. I want to know what she is running from. I can see that she is feeling something for me but she is not saying anything. What is stopping her? I want to know. I used my connection to find out about her family. No one knows where i am going. Not even Duncan. I will tell him when i'll be back. He knows everything about her but i don't want to ask him. He is loyal to their friendship. And i don't want to break their trust.

I was in my helicopter. I was in hurry. I don't want to travel by road because it will take 2 hours to reach there. It was just 20 minutes journey by air. I was thinking about her and me. These 3 years. We are living in same house. But nothing is going on between us. I don't know why she is hiding her self from me. She is not open to me. We are in good terms as a friend. She share everything with me but at some point.
