"David Dress nice the Torres will be here soon!"

David took off his plain white shirt, since that doesn't consider nice in his mom opinion! David walked over to his closets and looks at all the choices he have. He picked a nice blue button shirt with a white tie and his best church pant. After getting dress he looks at himself in the mirror, he had to admit he look nice. He walked out of his room and walked downstairs at the dining room, where he found his mom placing the salad bowl at the table. "How do I look Ma?" Clare kissed David in the cheek and fixed his tie.

"You look Handsome dear."

Even though he hated to dress up, nothing pleased him than making his mom smile. He hugged his mom. "Okay David can you get your sister please!" Said Clare before rushing inside the kitchen, David walked upstairs and as walking to Emily room he stopped at his track he saw his dad tying a knot on his black tie. "Looking good dad!" whistled David. Eli turns away from the mirror and look at his son.

"You as well kid! You know Adam and Fiona have a daughter!"

David laugh he knew what his dad was doing, every since the break up with Christine His dad had try to convince him to give others shots to girls.

"Dad you are such a funny dude!" With that David continued making his way to Emily room, he open the door, and saw his sister laying on her bed reading." Emily Mom say to come downstairs." Emily nodded and the two teens walked downstairs to find both of their parents smiling and hugging a tall man with baby face and deep blue eyes his haired cover his eyes, while what it seem to be his wife stand a beautiful women with long brown curls and also had blue eyes. Standing next to their parent stood two teenagers twins looking awkward as they watch their parents hugging. The boy had messy brown haired that cover his blue eyes, he stood taller that his sister and had a stocky appearance. David eyes widened as he saw the girl he help her get direction standing next to her brother. Her long brown haired was pulled into a pony tail and two strand of her haired in her face.

"Adam, Fiona you remember David and Emily."

Adam smiled as Fiona came over to them and hugged them. David awkwardly patted Fiona in the back while Emily was hugging Fiona back.

"David, Emily this is Tristan and Annie Torres! Said Clare; Tristan and Emily shook hands and quickly started having conversation about political. Meanwhile David and Annie stood at their spots looking at each other.

"Let's go eat dinner." Announce Clare. She led everyone to the dining room. Everyone took their seats. After filled theirs plate with food everyone started small talk.

"Tristan, Annie tells us what is new?" Said Clare

"We both attend a boarding school at England. I was on the varsity soccer team, while Annie was top of our grade." Said Tristan

"Impressive. Emily here is also on top of her grades. David played on year of football before got injury, and then he soon took interest in art." Said Eli

"Really do you paint or play an instrument?" asked Mr. Torres. All eyes were set on David. David took a breath." I play guitar I was taught by dad when I was nine!"

"Bet you play guitar better than your old man" Said Mr. Torres.

"Not really sir." David laughs nervously.

"Don't be too modest David he's amazing Adam" Said Eli patting his son on the back.

"That is really great David. Annie here is a dancer." Said Fiona

"Yes we had heard about that. Emily had sign up for both of the class." Said Clare

"Annie sign up for dancing." Mrs. Torres turned her attention to David. "What about you David? Did you sign for any of those classes?"

"I haven't but I am considering it at the moment" Said David.

After Dinner David and Annie had both agree to wash dished. David rolled up his sleeves as Annie took off her bracelet. The few first seconds was awkward. Until David spoke;

"Who would have thought that our parents were friends at Degrassi huh? Said David as Annie passes him a soapy plate and David rinse the soap off the plate.

"Yeah it's crazy! She giggled. She looks at David. "Thank again for helping me find Professor Smith class."

David smile. "It was no problem." They continued to small talk; when they finished washing all the plates. They turned to look at each other.

"I don't know why but it felt like I know you forever." Said David, his hand deep on his pocket, Annie smiles" Well technically we have known each other forever."

"How can I forget that?" David laughs.

They both move closer to each other, theirs face inches apart from each other. David and Annie both lean in…"what are you doing you promise you won't fall for another boy. They will hurt you like Michael!"

Annie pulled back and saw David open his eyes. "Um… I think our parents are calling us." Annie took her bracelet from the counter and walked out of the kitchen leaving David standing at his spot looking confused.
