Hope there's someone out there for me chapter 14

Emily was still mad at Landon when they have come back from their weekends, everyone had heard about what had happen to Jacob. Jacob and Alice Immediately shared a hug as soon they saw each other. Alice kissed Jacob as soon they broke the hugged. "I'm sorry we couldn't go on our first date." Jacob whispered, running his hand to Alice hair. Alice laughs humorless. "Jacob I don't care about that, all I care you're okay." Alice kissed Jacob again. "Can I walk you to class?" Jacob asked grabbing her hand. Alice nodded; they walked together hand on hand.

Landon sat on the Zen garden, his ear bud deep in his ear, and he was tapping his foot, following the song rhythm. He knew what song he was going to sing to Emily; all he hopes was that she like it. And that the plan would work. He had a free period now, and was trying to listen the song as much as he can to memorize the song lyrics.

Everyone sat as they wait for Mrs. Taylor, Landon couldn't keep his eyes off Emily. She had no problem showing that she was mad at Landon; she had been giving him the cold shoulder all day, and had decided to sit with The Torres instead of him. He sigh and hope that Mr. Goldsworthy plan will worked. Mrs. Taylor arrived the classroom as the second bell rang. She placed her suitcase in her desk and turned to face her class with a big smiled.

"Okay class today we will be having a little performance to see, if you and your partner don't have time to plan, you still can communicate and perform well. Now please pick your partner."

Emily turned to look at the Torres twins but they have both already found a partner. Landon walked over to her. She looked at Landon and looked away, "Emily please listens to me!" Emily Ignore him, before Landon could have spoken, Mrs. Taylor spoken;

"Who will like to go first?" Mrs. Taylor said. Landon raised his hand. And Mrs. Taylor beamed at him. "Wonderful, Mr. Fitzgerald, now who is your partner?"

"Emily Goldsworthy"

Emily gaped at Landon and then to Mrs. Taylor, before she had a chance to restore, Mrs. Taylor smiled at the two teens. "Wonderful I always wanted to know how you two will sound singing together." Landon walked down in front of his classmate and set himself onto the big black piano. He had notice that Emily haven't move out of her chair.

"Miss Goldsworthy is there a problem?"

"Yes Mrs. Taylor, I am not Landon Partner." Replied Emily looking at Landon face as it fell. Mrs. Taylor raised her eyebrow. "Well who's your right partner Miss Goldsworthy?"

"I don't have one."

"Well then I suggest you partner up with Mr. Fitzgerald if you want a grade on today assignment." Emily didn't had a choice, she had never failed an assignment and she wasn't going to let Landon ruined that perfect record she had. She stood up and walked over to Landon.

"What song will you two be singing?"

"Hate that I love you." Landon replied, and he immediately started playing tones on the piano. Emily took a deep breath and started to sing;

And I can't stand you

Must everything you do make me wanna smile

Can I not like you for awhile? (No...)

Landon looked into Emily eyes as he sings the next verse;

But you won't let me

You upset me girl

And then you kiss my lips

All of a sudden I forget (that I was upset)

Can't remember what you did

Emily seemed to drain all her angered toward Landon and was now smiling as she sat down next to Landon.
