Hope there's someone out there for me chapter 9

Jacob slowly opened the door of his house, and looked between the gaps. No sight of his dad. Jacob walked inside, and slowly closed the door. He walked all around his house for a sight of his father, but he was nowhere to be seen. Jacob sighs in relief and walked upstairs and into his room. He locked the door, and jumped to his bed. As soon he shut his eyelid, he fell asleep.

Jacob quickly opens his eyes as he heard something smash downstairs. He looked down at his watch and saw that it was 7 o'clock. He closed his eyes again trying to ignore the noises that were coming downstairs.

"Jacob opens the damn door." Shouted Jason Hudson .Jacob quickly got to a sitting position. He didn't know what to do. If he opened the door, his dad was going to beat him, but if he didn't opened the door, he was soon to regret it.

"Jacob don't make me break this damn door."

Jacob slowly walked to the door, before he had a chance to cover his face, his dad knock him out with one punch.

"That will teach you to listen to me."

"Okay have you decided what song you want to sing?"

Tristan and Emily sat down on the sofa. They had both agree to meet up at Emily house, to pick a song for tomorrow. They had each suggest equal amount of songs to sing but none was good enough to both agree.

"I really don't know."

Tristan stood up, and took out his itouch and plugged it to the speaker. He turned around to face Emily."Maybe we can pick from our iPod."

Emily nodded. "Good idea."

Everyone took a seat as they waited for Mrs. Taylor. Everyone was sitting with their partner practicing one more time the song they had chosen. Mrs. Taylor arrives seconds later, a big smiled splattered in her face, and she clapped her hand together as she stood in the middle of classroom.

"Welcome kids. I assume you all had finished the assignment that I had assigned you yesterday?"

All the students nodded their heads. Mrs. Taylor beamed at her students. "Good. Who would like to perform first?"

Emily and Tristan both raised their hands. After longs hours of finding the perfect song to perform, they found one it wasn't like they had expected, but they had both agree to it. Mrs. Taylor beamed one more time and indicated them to get up.

"Okay the song we had choo-"Emily started.

"Emily, Tristan before you start we are all going to move to another room." Mrs. Taylor said.

Mrs. Taylor led the class to an empty classroom. It was filled with different instrument. Mrs. Taylor sat on the empty Teacher desk, and the students sat on any chairs they could had fine.

"Okay here is the rule. You both could sing or one of you sings while the other play an instrument, but you both must do something. Secondly playing an instrument will get you and your partner extra points. Okay Emily and Tristan you may start."

Emily picked up an acoustic guitar while Tristan sits down on the piano bench. They both started to play, soft melody from both instrument;

and I tell him every day" sang Emily.

They both shared a smiled as they sang together;

and I tell her everyday" sang Tristan. He looked at Nicole as he sang that verse, but quickly looked down. Soon again Emily and Tristan sang together;

The class burst in cheered when Tristan and Emily had finished the song. Mrs. Taylor got up and her seat and clapped a hand on each of their shoulder. "Wonderful A plus for both of you." she shouted gleefully, she then turn her attention back to her students," Now who's next!"
