Chapter 13

*HUNTERS POV*

I roll over on my side and glance at the clock. It's 12:15. I look over on my side and Amanda is laying there with her eyes wide open staring at the ceiling.

"What's wrong?" I asked.
She looked over at me.

"Can't sleep." She whispered.

"Just stop thinking about it." I whisper.
I wrapped my arms around her and she scooted closer to me. She laid her head on my chest.

"I love you." I whisper. I kissed her on the temple.

"I love you too."

I closed my eyes and slept a little while longer.

*THE NEXT MORNING*

I left early in the morning to go get some coffee. I arrived back to the hotel and Amanda was no longer in bed.
I looked out on the balcony and she was standing out there looking down. I smiled.

I walked out there quietly and wrapped my arms around her waist.

"Good morning beautiful." I felt her smile.

"You weren't there when I woke up. So I just came out here. Thought you would be at a concert."

"No I went to get us some coffee but you looked so peaceful. Didn't want to wake you. Where's sam?"

"She is sleeping." She said. I smiled. She turned around and looked at me.

She smiled.

"What are you smiling about?" She asked.

"You."
She smiled again and leaned in and kissed me. I smiled and kissed her back

" I get a day off. We can do something today."

"Okay."
She smiled and walked inside. I followed her and she went in the bathroom.
I decided to wake Sam up.

"Hey baby girl." I smiled and picked her up from the bed. Gently I rocked her in my arms
Amanda's phone started beeping.

"Amanda your phones beeping." I say loudly.

"Who is it?" She asks.

"Unknown number."
She walked out and took her phone.

I watched as she stated at the screen. And she started typing.

I leaned over her shoulder.

She dropped the phone on the bed and and picked up sam and kissed her head.
"Amanda he won't hurt her."

"Yeah we thought the same thing about me. See where that went." She sat down.

"I wont let him."
She wiped her eyes and I wrapped my arms around her
"That's a promise."

*that night*
Amanda woke up in the middle of the night absolutely terrified and started crying. I woke up and brought her into a huge hug

"Shh. It was just a dream I promise. Calm down. It's okay" I whispered.

I rested my chin on her forehead and rubbed her arm. She was really cold.

I pulled the blankets over us and I felt her warm tear drops fall onto my arm.

"You're okay amanda I promise, please don't cry." I whisper

I hate it when she cries, it makes me want to burst into tears and hurt anyone who has ever made her cry including myself. Seeing someone as beautiful as her in this much pain just kills me inside and out nothing the less.

She was shaky. She couldn't seem to calm herself down.

I sat up and pulled her into a huge hug. I wrapped my arms around her and rocked back and forth.

"Let it out. It's okay. It's okay." I whispered into her ear. I kissed the side of her head and her sobs slowly became a little bit louder.

She scooted in more as if she was trying to get closer into my chest which was nearly impossible.

I felt bad. I had no clue what I could do to help her.

I guess the only thing I can do is sit here in the dark holding her and whispering into her ear letting her know its okay.

She rested her head on my arm and buried her face into me. I lay me head on hers and I sat there holding her for like two hours.

She finally calmed down and she pulled away from me.

"I'm sorry." She said. She crossed her legs and I put her hands in mine. It was still dark but I seen her eyes and her face. She still had tear marks on her cheeks and she held her mouth open and looked at the bed.

"What are you sorry for?"
I whispered.

"I'm sorry for being an emotional wreck and I'm sorry you have to deal with me." She said. She ran her fingers through her long brown messed up hair and stared at the bed. I stare at her.

Without holding myself back and I lifted up her chin and looked at her

"I love you Amanda." I whispered. I kissed her soft pink lips and I instantly felt her kiss me back.

"Go to sleep. You need rest." I whispered.

She nodded and she kissed me again. I gave her one more hug and she laid down on the bed,

I hovered over her and kissed her once more. She smiled at me.

"Why do you keep doing that?" She laughed. I stare into her eyes and smiled.

"Just waiting for that smile." I say.

She pecked my lips again. I smiled at her. She laughed and pulled me down and my arms were no longer holding me up.

I laughed silently and she kissed me.

We sat there and stared into each others eyes for a few minutes. I look at the clock behind her and its still really early and still dark outside.

She kept on pecking my lips over and over just smiling at me.

I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her close into my chest.

"You always seem to make the tears fade dont you hunter?" She whispered. I smile

"Yeah I sure hope so." I said.

I held her until she fell asleep finally and I closed my eyes as well and fell asleep.
