Chapter 20

*AMANDAS POV*

"Hey baby girl." i look over to the door to see hunter walking towards me. I sit up on the bed.

"Hey." i give a weak smile. Hunter sat next to me and put a hand on my knee. He handed me a mug filled with coffee. I cupped my hands around gaining warmth.

"How you holding up?" he asks me.

"Im fine. Itll be okay." i wipe the tear from my cheek.

"Amanda." hunter whispers. He turns my chin toward him.
"You dont have to pretend youre so strong. You dont have to act like this doesnt hurt you. I am not judging. If you need to cry, go for it. You lost your brother. Its going to hurt. Okay? Dont do this to yourself. Dont hold all your emotions inside because its going to hurt you more."

He pulled me in and wrapped his arms around me
He kissed me forhead.

"I dont want it to end like this. I dont want him to be gone." i sob into hunters chest. He ran his fingers through my hair.

"Shh i know." he whispers into my ear.

I relax into hunters grip. I hear sam start crying and i get up. I struggle away from hunter and walk into the nursery.

I pick sam up and cradle her in my arms. Almost five months.

From across the house i hear hunter talking on the phone.
After i get sam calmed down hunter walks in

"I got her." he smiled at me. He takes sam from my arms and i walk out and sit on the couch

I play on my phone waiting for hunter to come out.

He walks out and smiles at me. He sits down next to me and kisses my temple. I smile at him

"What should we do today?" he asks. I shrug my shoulders with no ideas in mine.

"We havent done anything fun in ages." he rests his chin on my shoulder. I lean my head on his
And sigh.

"We could go to the mall and walk around with nothing to do until an idea pops into our heads. " i laugh.

Hunter drops sam off at his moms house and while he is gone i took a shower and curled my hair, i put on some dark jeans and i grey sweatshirt. I brush my teeth and i put on mascara, winged eyeliner and  smokey eyeshadow. I also fixed my eyebrows and put on a nude lipstick.

As soon as i finish i walk downstairs and open the fridge and get a banana and some yogurt.

Hunter walks through the front door. I finished my breakfast as he got ready. I walk in the bathroom and hes putting on hairgel. He smiled at me and started to brush his teeth.

I walk to my closet and put on some brown combat boots.

Hunter snuck up behind me and snaked his arms around my waist. He nuzzled his head in the crook of my neck. I smiled and kissed his cheek.

He grabbed my hand and got the keys to the car and i put my sunglasses on. We walked out to the car and we get in and drive down the road.

"Want a smoothie?" he asks. I nod and smile at him

"Yeah sure." i smile. He pulls through the drive through of a smoothie place and he got a strawberry bannana and i got a pomegranate strawberry one.

We got to the mall and we walked through the big glass doors.

"We havent had much time to just hang out lately." i sigh. He nods and his grip on my hand tightens. I sip my smoothie as we stand on the escalators.

We get to the top of the escalators and we sit down at a table, on the way, hunter grabs a brochure for a cruise.

"Want to go on a cruise?" he asks rasing his eyebrows.

"Babe you know we both do, but we dont have time, we have sam, and you have a career dont forget about that." i smile.

"Yeah but we both need a break." he sighs "and our anniversary is coming up" he points at me.
I nod.

"Yes thats true mr. Hayes." i wink

"Yes mrs. Hayes so we should do something." he winks back and points at the brochure.
"You want a burger?" he asks. "I want a burger." he sighs. I shrug. Im not in the burger mood but ill gladly get something to eat with him.

We walked up to the bar and hunter asks for a burger. "And for the lady?" the guy asks me.

I scan over the menu and say "ill take a strawberry salad." i say. Hunter rolls his eyes. I nudge his shoulder. We sit down at the table and the guy shortly brings us our food.

As we are sitting there eating a mother sits at the table next to us, pregnant, and a little boy and a little girl next to her.

I smile at her and she smiles back and looks at hunter and i.

It makes me think of how much i miss having a baby growing inside my stomach. Getting to carry my child everywhere all the time.

Me and hunter start having a comversation about random stuff and i fill my mouth with my strawberry salad as hunter holds a greasy hamburger and french fries.

I cringe at the thought. I am not one for big greasy slices of cows. It grosses me out and i feel guilty when its inside my stomach.

"Stop looking at my burger that way." he playfully glares and sips his smoothie.

"Its so greasy! You really need to be more careful of what youre doing to your body or your going to get fat." i tease.

"Okay doctor oz." he rolls his eyes.

"Okay well when your 599 pounds and cant get up on your own all i am going to say is i told you so. So dont doctor oz me or youll be visiting him." i nudge his arm.

"Yeah okay." he rolls his eyes.

I wink at him and turn my head to the cute little boy next to us and he looks at me and gives me a big smile with chocolate icecream smeared across his little chubby face. His eyes sparkling as he sits there in a gaze staring at me.

He turns back to his mom as she wiped his face with a wet napkin.

"Hes a cutie." i say to his mom. She smiled at me and asked,

"You have any kids?" i smile and nod.

"Ive got a little girl. Five months old." i smile. She grins at me.

"Hunter." i sigh. He looks over at me.

"What?" he asks.

"I want another kid." i sigh. His eyes widen

"Woah woah woah we just had one of those" he laughs.

"I want a little boy too." i smile

"Well maybe one day in the future we will have more kids and a happy little kitty and a tiny doggy and we will live happily ever after." he winks at me.

The rest of the day hunter holds me close to him with his hand in mine hanging over my shoulder, i keep thinking about our future. If we will have more kids.

Later that night hunters mom begged us to keep sam for the next few days. We were sitting on the couch
With the tv on quietly and we were just holding hands. We were quiet

"Amanda." hunter lifts my chin up and i stare into his eyes.
"I promise we will have a bigger family one day." he smiles and rubs the back of my hand. I smile and he grabs both sides of my head and kissed me.

I then lay down on his chest and close my eyes
