Chapter 6

IT FELT LIKE TIME stopped. The sound of the lake's waves crashing against the docks were faded away. All I smelled was Vincent's aftershave and the Snell of lemons.

We were there on the dock for about 10 minutes kissing. I have been waiting for this moment for ever. Vince is all I want.... He pulled back and pulled me to the truck. I hopped up on the tailgate and jumped into the bed.

Then he was on top of me.

He took off his shirt along with mine. He was kissing me hard now, then nibbling my neck. I let out a moan and he stopped. He looked at me straight in the face, he said "Do you want me to do this Spencer? Because if I start I won't be able to stop." My body said yes, but I said "No, we have to stop." He nodded and got off of me.

I felt terrible, I want him. I need him and I ruined it. I hugged him and said "I'm sorry. I want to do it so bad, but something inside me is saying that I am not ready for it."

He kissed me on the head and said "I understand." I gave him a little smile and started to kiss him some more. We still had our shirts off, but I liked this, I feel comfortable like this. He said "How is that lip ring feeling?" I actually forgot I had it.

I felt it and said "It's fine.." I got a phone call and had to go through this little window to get it out of the truck. When I was bent over, he slapped my butt. I squealed and answered my phone.

"Hello?" I said as Vince began to bite my leg.

"Hey it's Meghan (Vince' sister), your Saving Bonds came!"

I screamed in joy, "How much is there?" The scream made Vince stop biting me and tried to eavesdrop.

"$50,000." She said squealing.

Oh my god, I could get new clothes an apartment, ahh this is amazing!

"That's awesome!" I said looking at Vince no

"Well, I'm gonna go, where you guys at?"

"Lake" I bluntly said.

"Well mom wants you both home at 9 for supper."

"Okay I will tell Vince, bye! I said dragging out the 'e' in the end.

I hung up and put my phone in the truck. Vince grabbed me by the waist and pulled me down on his lap. I turned around so I was facing him. I said "I have $50,000 dollars in those Saving Bonds, I could get an apartment and everything!"

He smiled and kissed me on the lips. I said "Thank you so much Vince. You are amazing." He leaned back and put his hands on his head, "I know." I laughed and kissed him again.

"And also we have to be home at 9 to eat supper." I said slapping his arm.

"You need to get your clothes from your house." He said standing up.

"Well maybe before we go home, we could go and get them." I suggested.

"Maybe." He said smirking.

"Please Vincey." I said with my lip outm

"Vincey? Really?" He questioned as he laughed.

I laughed and kissed him on the forehead. I put my shirt back on and hopped in the truck.

When we got to my old house to get my clothes, it seemed very quiet for some reason. I opened the door and no one was home. Perfect time to get my clothes.

I ran up to my room and the maid was in my room. Everything was packed and ready on my bed. I said "Excuse me.... did you do this?" She nodded and said "Your a very nice girl, and your step mother threw everything on the side walk. So I picked them up for you."

I walked over and gave her a hug. I said "Thank you. But I still don't understand how you can put up with her."

She said "I don't know either." She helped me with the bags and put them in the back of Vince's truck. I said my goodbyes and got inside the truck. He said "So.... there is some apartments behind my house, their very nice."

I nodded and said "I'll check it out." We finally got home at 8:30, just in time. When I walked in, Meghan handed me an envelope. I jumped up and down with joy.

I opened it quickly, and there it was. $50,000 dollars was in my hand. I turned around and hugged Vince. I said "I love you Vincent." He was frozen when I said those words. Love...... When I didn't hear him say it back, I stepped back and said "I will be back. I'm going to check those apartments out."

I ran out the door, and I knew Vince was following me.

He said "Wait Spence.. Spencer wait." I didn't stop, I just kept running. Tears running down my face, I was so stupid to say I love you. The people was just about to close down when I walked in. I said "I hope I'm not to late." The woman at the desk said "How may I help you?" I said "I would like to buy one of your apartments."

She smiled and said "You will have to fill out this form, understanding the things your aloud having, and what you are not aloud having. Oh hey Vincent, is this your friend?" I turned around and I saw him out of breathe from running after me. He said "No, she's my girlfriend."

I'm his girlfriend? I felt my face burning of excitement, so I just sat down in the lounging chairs and wrote down info on the form. He sat down beside me and said "I'm sorry Spencer. I didn't mean to not say it back. It just couldn't come out."

I replied back, "I didn't even really mean it in that way. Unless you wanted it to, I thought we were something, after today...."

He grabbed my hands and said "We are." I smiled and kissed him. I picked up the form and wrote down the last thing. I gave it to the woman and said "Okay, what room would you like?" I said "Well it depends on the price...." She showed me the options and I picked the one with two bedrooms, kitchen, two bathrooms, and a living room. That is just enough space for me. I don't know where to get anything that I needed. So I thought it was time to go shopping.... with Meghan.

When we got home, I said "Meghan are you busy tomorrow?" She looked at me then at Vince. She asked "Why what did you guys do?" I shook my head confusingly and said "I bought an apartment, and I need to buy some things." She smiled excitedly and screamed "YES!" She hugged me with joy and I just laughed. I said "Yell for us when supper is done, I have to talk to Vince in his room."

She nodded and we ran to his room.

We locked the door........

Hahaha so mysterious.. Wonder what they would be doing in that room, with the door locked...
