Pokemon May and Drew Fanfiction

The Rescue

*Brendan's POV*
'Today is the day' I thought to myself, May will be with me. I made sure that it was me who had my Swampert tear up the home and I was the one who had written the note saying she left him I also made sure to grab a suitcase and take her clothes. Now I just have to act like im seeing her for the first time captive and im going to 'Rescue' her. I know its mean that we kept her captive but she needs to realize she's not meant for him she's meant for me.

I smiled and splashed a little bit of water to make it look like I was sweaty and tired and have been searching for her for days and hours. I sighed and went towards the back of the alley I knew the room she was is in but I didn't want to go through the front door that was too obvious. So I decided its best to go through the back window and break in like that so that makes it look far more realistic. I grabbed a brick and threw it at the window and it shattered on contact.

I went inside and there in the middle of the room was May tied up and drugged. I knew the drug effect was almost done and I smiled. 'Right on time' I thought. I heard her starting to wake up and I slowly approached her like I was making sure no one was around and I whispered "May May?" She slowly raised her head and faced me and looked shock and whispered "Teddy Bear?" I smiled and ran up to her and held her for a few seconds I let go when she whispered "Teddy Bear get out of here now while you can." I smiled at her kindly "May May ive come to rescue you. Im not leaving without you."

*May's POV*
I felt myself slowly start to wake up when I heard "May May?" I looked at the direction the voice came from and looked in shock as I saw Brendan. All I could say was "Teddy Bear?" I felt so relieved and then I thought 'Oh no what if someone comes they can take him captive too!' I knew I couldn't let that happened. All I could manage to whisper is "Teddy Bear get out of here now while you can." He smiled at me it was a sweet smile and he said "May May i've come to rescue you. Im not leaving without you."

At that point I almost cried and I felt myself tearing up and he said "Don't cry May. Im here for you." He got on his knees and kissed my cheek and started to untie me. I thought 'Brendan just kissed my cheek.' I felt myself blush lightly and I smiled at him. I then felt all the ropes fall off and I sighed in relief and burst into tears and held on to him tightly. I felt him wipe my tears and he whispered "May im here. Dont cry I won't ever leave you." I sobbed harder and I felt my face being lifted to face his. I stared into his Red eyes and I felt myself blush lightly.

He smiled and whispered "May what happened? Who took you? I've been worried for you. I was calling your pokenav several times but you never answered and I got worried. I saw a person run around here and the person looked shady so I followed it and I ran and went around the back and I found you. Im so glad your okay." I pulled away and gasped "Oh no! I have to call Drew. He must be worried sick!" Brendan looked at me with sadness and some anger and he said "May, Drew is with someone else he started dating another girl. Her name is Brianna."

I looked at him with slight anger in my eyes and said "Stop lying dont you dare because I was dating Drew!" He whispered "May im not kidding, here look at that." He gave me a small photograph and I gasped and whispered "Drew how could you do this to me? Wait a second..." I examined the picture closely and dropped it in shock. "That's Brianna I remember her. I knew she liked him when we we're younger, but they started dating?!?!? Drew cheated on me?" I began to sob uncontrollably and Brendan wrapped his arms around me and he whispered "Dont cry May May. He doesn't see how amazing and a great girl you are, but I do."

I held him close and sobbed "He cheated on me. He didn't even bother to look for me when I was kidnapped. How could he?" He sighed and held me closer and I couldn't help but blush he then said something that surprised me. "May i'm leaving on an adventure soon to Kanto." I felt myself tear up all over again "Your leaving Brendan?" He smiled and said "May do you want to come with me?" I pulled away in shock and whisper "Really? Do you mean that?" He smiled "Of course. I think its for the best if we leave Hoenn for a bit because of everything. That way you don't have to face Drew or Brianna." I looked down at the floor and whispered "Promise me, you won't leave me."

He smiled "Of course I won't." I pulled him close "Okay. I'll go with you." I took his hand and smiled. He smiled at me and said "Just me and you. Like the old times. I won't leave your side this time like I did before." I smiled and said "Lets go then. When do we leave to Kanto?" He smiled and said "We leave tonight if you want." I smiled "Let me grab a bag and pack somethings." He smiled "Dont worry about that. Well start from the beginning there. Don't you know anyone in Kanto?"

I felt my eyes shine brightly "Ash! And Brock!" He looked confused "Ash? Brock? Who's that?" I laughed "Ash was a person who I traveled with through Hoenn. Brock came later on he's Ash's friend. He's the gym leader of Pewter City." He smiled "Awesome. Shall we be on our way to Slateport city and we can get a boat ride to Kanto?" I smiled let me go home for a second and get something. I need to get my Pokemon." He smiled "Of course lets go."

He took my hand in his and we walked towards my home. I walked inside I sighed. Everything is in order I grabbed all my pokeballs and grabbed a few extra pairs of clothes I had hidden in my cabinets I went upstairs to my room I opened a small drawer on my dresser and looked at the gift inside. I picked it up and held it close to my heart and whispered "the Necklace and Earings." I teared up and wiped my tears "the gift from Drew." I sighed and took the gift and put it in my bag "He might have cheated me but im keeping this." I grabbed a few more things and ran outside "okay Brendan. Lets go." He smiled "Lets go." He pulled out a pokeball and said "Lugia!" I gasped as the Johto Psychic flying type legendary appeared he smiled "Get on May." I smiled and got on and he got on and said "Lugia to Slateport City."

Brendan said "Hold on to Lugia's neck." I smiled and held on to Lugia's neck. The next thing I knew is that we were in the air heading to Slateport City....
