Pokemon May and Drew Fanfiction

It's You!

*May's POV*
I stayed in shock for a few minutes and I thought to myself 'He didn't seem to recognize me but something inside him stirred up an old memory. Too bad he doesn't remember me.' I gave a small smile and said quietly to Drew "He still looks the same. Raven black hair and Red hat and a blue jacket and dark jeans. Sure it's obviously made for his age now but the outfit is pretty much the same." Drew smiled "Yeah he hasn't changed a bit. I do wonder if the pretty blondish brunette girl next to him is his girlfriend?" I flinched slightly and thought 'Drew thinks she's pretty. Am I not as pretty as her?' I took a good look at her she had medium longish hair and a pink hat with a black bow. She had a pink skirt and a black sleeveless top. She also had black knee socks with black high tops. I felt a small sting and I thought again 'She is beautiful.'

I shook my head to try and get rid of these thoughts and I gave a determined smile and took his hand and said "Come on!" He looked at me confused "Huh?" Then I started walking towards the couple and Drew looked at me in shock "What? Your serious?" I laughed "Yup!" I walked up to the couple and said in a teasing way "Mr. Ash Ketchum! Why didn't you ever lose contact? Who is the girl? Did you forget me Ashy?" He blushed lightly and the girl's face got red with some jealousy and looked at him "Who is she?!" He looked at me confused but some slight recognition "What? Who are you? Have we met before?" I pouted "Nice to know you forgot me Ash Ketchum! You really are dense! It's me!" Ash stayed looking confused.

I sighed and grabbed my bandanna from my small bag and did my hair in the same style when we were traveling together. Something must've clicked in that dense head of his and he sat up quickly and gave me a bear hug "May!" I laughed and hugged back "about time Ash! Now if you don't mind, please let the bear hug go your going to suffocate me!" He pulled away blushing lightly "Oh sorry May! It's been a while! Like what 6 or 7 years?" I nodded "Yeah. What are you doing here in Kalos Ash? And who's she?" I gave the girl a small point and she got up and held out her hand to me "Hi! I'm Serena! I'm his girlfriend." She said that last part quite shyly and I smiled at her "Nice to meet you Serena. I'm May. I traveled with Ash when he was in Hoenn me and Brock and my little brother Max." She gave me a laugh "Oh I thought you we're his ex or something."

I felt my face grow very warm and I laughed nervously "Oh no. Ash and I date? No, we're just old traveling buddies." Ash laughed nervously too "Yeah just old traveling buddies. After all May had her eye on someone else." I believe you told me it was your friend Brendan?" I felt like I got a slap to the face and I looked at the floor tearing up but I wiped them quickly so he wouldn't notice them. Too late though he noticed and asked "Hey May what's wrong?" I felt a hand on my shoulder and I smiled at the comfort of Drew being there "It's a long story Ash. By the way nice to see you again." Ash took a good look at Drew and fell down anime style "Drew? What are you doing here with May?" Both Drew and I felt our faces grow warm and Serena snapped her fingers "Aha! You two are dating right?"

We both felt our faces as red as cherries and she smiled "Yup I knew it." Ash starred at us with his mouth open for a few seconds before he finally said "Wow. Congrats guys, Who would've thought you two would end up dating considering how much Drew insulted May and the way May would be shy." We laughed nervously "Yeah we're dating, life can be crazy." Ash looked at me again and he said "So why we're you upset? What happened with Brendan that me just bring up his name makes you upset?" Both Drew and I sat down next to Ash and Serena and sighed "It's a long story. Let me start from the beginning..."

~Time skip (Story telling time)~

*Drew's POV*
After the whole story was told Serena gave a sad look at both May and I and she said "That's horrid, I can't believe you guys went through all that and it only happened about a few weeks ago." I looked over at May and she had a brave face but under that face she was hurting like the whole thing was being repeated in her mind. I held her hands in mine and gave them a light squeeze and she looked at me and gave me a sad smile. Ash looked at May with sadness and some anger in his eyes and said "Whenever I find this Brendan and Brianna i'm going to make them pay!" May smiled sadly at him "Ash don't say that it's okay, we have to let it go and move on. Besides," she gave a mischievous smile "How long have you and Serena been dating?"

He laughed nervously and started blushing and Serena answered for him since he was too busy blushing "We've been dating for about 3 years. Ash came to his journey to Kalos when he was 14 and we traveled together with another boy and his little sister there names are Clemmont and Bonnie. Actually Clemmont is the Lumiose's city gym leader." I smiled "Really?" She said "Yup. We started dating when he 16 and I was 15. How old are you Drew?" I smiled "I'm 19." She gave a smile "Oh Ash is too! How old are you May?" May smiled "I'm 18 if i'm doing my math right your 18 too Serena?" She gave a small giggle "Yup!"

May and Serena smiled at each other and I though 'There gonna be great friends, I can see that much. Ash and I? Well I have a feeling were gonna get to be great friend's since I think Serena and May are gonna hang out alot.' I smiled though it could be fun. "Serena looked at a watch she had on "Oh my! It's already 5! Ash and I have to go! My mom is making dinner and well May you know Ash does love to eat." May laughed "Oh I know that." Ash pouted "I might be 19 but Serena's mom makes a mean dinner!" Both May and I laughed and Serena smiled "Yeah she does so we have to get going but if you like tomorrow at Cafe Soreli we can meet and have a treat!" May gave her a smile "Totally! We'll see you at 1?" Serena nodded "That works perfectly! Goodbye May! Goodbye Drew!" Ash smiled "Bye May! Bye Drew!" Both May and I smiled "Goodbye both of you!"

May and I watched them leave and May smiled "It's great Ash didn't fully forget about me. I was afraid he did." I held her hand and smiled "Yeah, but I doubt he could forget you." We both laughed and headed towards the hotel we're we stayed and watched some movies with a great actress named Diantha. It was about 11 at night and we both layed down on the bed and she held me close and I held her back close as well and we both whispered "Goodnight Sweet Dreams." Then we both closed our eyes and drifted to sleep...
