"Hey, Princess. Sorry I've been a bit awol. I want to make it up to you" his text read. I sighed with relief.

Grace looked over at me. "Oooh, is that lover boy?" she teased.

"Maybe..." I singed not looking up from the screen. I typed back, "How do you plan to do that?" and waited. The end of the movie was nearing. After a couple of minutes I was zoned back into the plot.

The killer was wearing a clown mask. I. Hate. Clowns. The killer obviously hasn't been unmasked yet, but I was right about the whole Karen thing. Somehow she has managed to escape every obstacle and she still has enough adrenaline to keep her running. I would have died from the physical exertion, alone. There wasn't enough adrenaline in the world to save me. I should probably take fitness a little more seriously... I pondered.

Just then Karen kicked some boxes over, making the killer trip. She grabbed a nearby broom and charged after him with it. She beat him relentlessly with it until she managed to get his knife. She stabbed him multiple times in the chest until he quit fighting her.

In the end, she was covered in blood and out of breath. She slowly pulled the mask off the killer's head. It was her brother.

"What?" Grace screamed.

"No way." I said bewildered. Well, we both had been wrong. That was a twist I definitely hadn't seen coming.

"That's not even fair!" pouted Grace. "I was so sure it was Henry."

"What ever happened to Henry?" I asked her.

"Nothing. He just disappeared." she said confused.

"That's a terrible ending." I replied.

"Maybe there's a sequel?" she asked.

"There has to be." I assured her.

I picked up my phone, three missed texts. The first was from Mom. "Have fun with Grace, sweetie. We love and miss you."  I thanked her and told her I loved and missed her, too. I went back to my inbox. Both were from Spencer. The first, "It's a secret.". Then, "Did I scare you, princess? ;)".

I chuckled. "I'm not scared of anything." I lied.

"Okay love bird." said Grace rolling her eyes. "What movie now?" she asked.

"Hmm," I replied thinking. "How about this one?" I asked as I grabbed a DVD case.

"Bloody Night?" she asked amused. "It sounds incredibly cheesy." she laughed and put the DVD in.

"Prove it." Spencer replied. I pondered on this for a moment.

"How?" I finally replied. The movie began, but I wasn't concentrating on it. I was too busy trying to come up with something brilliant. I'm afraid of a lot of things. This is why you don't lie, stupid. I thought to myself.

"Come over, and I'll show you how." He replied. My heart began racing and I felt warm. What did that mean?

"Grace," I said interrupting the movie.

"Yes?" she replied curiously.

"We need to practice sneaking out that window." I said looking up at her smiling.

"Are we going to see lover boy?" she asked excitedly.

"Bingo." I said, smiling.
