"I've been awake for a while now. You've got me feelin' like a child now, 'cause every time I see your bubbly face I get the tingles in a silly place." I sing to Bubbly as I do my homework, smiling and thinking of Kenny the whole while.

"It starts in my toes and I crinkle my nose. Wherever it goes, I always know that you make me smile, please stay for a while now. Just take your time wherever you go."

I start doodling pictures in my notebook as I sing. "The rain is fallin' on my window pane, but we are hiding in a safer place. Undercovers staying dry and warm, you give me feelings that I adore. They start in my toes; make me crinkle my nose. Wherever it goes I always know that you make me smile. Please stay for a while now just take your time wherever you go." I draw a heart with a bandaid on it with 'B' on the heart and 'K' on the bandaid.

"But what am I gonna say? When you make me feel this way I just,"

"Mmmmm." I gasp as I turn my head and see Kenny, who finished that part of the some for me.

"What are you doing here?? It's the middle of day, dad's gonna catch you!" I say quietly.

He smiles and quickly pecks my cheek. "I was bored and I needed to see you. It had been too many hours." He tells me. I roll my eyes and lean up to kiss him.

"I have homework I need to finish up." I say when I pull away.

He lifts an eyebrow. "Looks like you had homework for art." He tells me, looking at my notebook. I roll my eyes and go down to erase the drawing, but he stops me. "I like it. If you're not keeping it, can I take it?" He asks.

"This page has my work on it though..."

"You can tear just the drawing out and leave the rest there." He says.

Oh... I do that and give him the little heart. He looks at it closely and smiles.

I continue working on homework as the song that was on ends.

I immediately recognize the next song. "I dreamed I was missing. You were so scared, but no one would listen, 'cause no one else cared." I sing. I feel Kenny tap my shoulder and hold out his hand to me.

"Dance with me? I love this song." I turn a little red as I ignore my homework and stand. I take Kenny's hand and he puts my hands on his shoulders, moving his own to my waist.

After my dreaming, I woke with this fear. What am I leaving when I'm done here?

He steps me through the dancing, spinning around at times and holding me closer every time.

So if you're asking me I want you to know, when my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done, help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. Don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest.

He smiles warmly at me as I blush and smile back.

Don't be afraid. I've taken my beating; I've shared what I made. I'm strong on the surface, not all the way through. I've never been perfect, but neither have you. So if you're asking me I want you to know.

I start to get a hang of it and I laugh quietly.

When my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done, help me leave behind some reasons to be missed. Don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest, leave out all the rest. Forgetting all the hurt inside you've learned to hide so well. Pretending someone else can come and save me from myself. I can't be who you are.
