Okay, before i get started i wanna say that i never once said that fnaf was bad, i really like fnaf, just not the majority of its fanbase, of course not all of it though. Let me explain.
First we have to go back where it all started with five nights at freddies, on August 8th 2014 the game was released.
Now not long afterwards it began to become very popular, for a good reason. It was a good game, and still is, and the way the game was made was a really interesting thing considering that most horror games you would be able to walk around and look at your surroundings and would probably end up moving to different places, fnaf was different than most because it still gave you that slight chill you get from most horror games, yet all you do was sit in an office the whole time.
Now i wont lie, the first few times i played it it did kinda creep me out a lot but that was only for a short time. Im sure thats how most people felt about it. The thing is, since all the big youtubers started playing it, alot of the little ones from about 7-12 years old watch a lot of them and thats how most of them learned about the game, others learned from friends. So since everyone learned about it almost at the same time it ki d of became a trend to play the game, and because its a horror game a lot of the little kids who play it started using the fact that it was a horror game and decided to brag about it, which is one reason i dont like its fanbase.
Another reason is because it became so popular at once, it really seemed to be the only thing they talk about, other than minecraft but il get to that another day. So it gets annoying after a while.
Plus since most of its annoying fans (most of them) are little kids, they dont know when they are crossing the line with things and a lot of them always have to be right or else they just tnrow a bunch of fits.
Im not sure if you have noticed, but a lot of little kids are kinda dumb, its usually due to the fact that they are still young and dont know much but its also due to the environment and way they were raised. Of course not all, just a big amount. So they end up doing really dumb things like try to give scott death threats if he doesnt release the next fnaf game, and if you ask me, that not only doesnt make any sence but also is a really good example of how dumb people can be. Scott has done a great job with his games, and nobody can be mad at him if they aren't satisfied because he is only 1 person, and making a good game like that takes a lot of time and patience. I think that you shouldnt judge people for how long it takes them to do stuff if you haven't even tried doing something like that yourself, so for the fnaf fans that are really annoying and unsatisfied, if your not happy with what scott has done, then go make your own damn game and see how far you'll get before you realize how hard making a game is.
And then we have the fans that are completely obsessed with the games and make it seem like its the best game ever even though its not, they consider it being better than bigger games like halo, assassins creed, or nintendo games like smash bros, mario, splatoon. They consider fnaf as thier number 1 no matter what. Now dont get me wrong, thats all opinion based and we are all entitled to have our own opinions,but come on! I mean i get that shooting games dont seem really creative or anything and just seem like mindless killing but thats really just the multiplayer, they have amazing story campains with great cutscenes and interesting story, i mean i do t even play shooting games that often but even i know that. And im not saying that fnafs story isnt interesting, im just saying that a lot of the bigger games usually have more to offer. And even if we are just talking about gameplay, there are more possibilities is shooters, and there are multiple classes and other stuff, it might seem like mindless killing on the outside but you have to consider everything about the game itself, not just what it looks like on the outside. And thats just shooting games, the fnaf fans dont realize how many people and how much time is taken to develop these games (not just shooting games in case your wondering, shooting games was just an example) i know that scott makes fnaf games alone and that they are still good, and considering how long it takes him to make them, thats incrediblh impressivek but overall, there are still planty of other games that take a lot of time, people, and ideas, to make that just end up as so much more that people really under appreciate. Shooting games were an example, there are plenty of other genres that take just as much effort to make, and dont forget it takes alot of money to make them too.
Sorry if that part was a bit too long, that kind of went out of hand but you see my point, fnaf is a great game but please stop acting like it was the best thing to happen to man because really it wasn't.
Now if any of you are upset i can kinda understand but im not to blame for that, its not my fualt for making this, its your fualt for reading it. You cant say that the title is missleading because it wasn't. You can comment whatever you want regardless of what it is because you took the time to read all this, and the entire thing is just me giving my opinion so you can too if you want.

Just keep in mind i never said fnaf was bad, if anything it is a good game, its just that the fanbase can be a real pain in the butt sometimes.
