Together Again

The Train

Rose's POV
We were up on the stage and the Capitol woman told us to all shake hands, so we did as we were told and led into separate rooms. I sat on a couch nervously waiting to be brought to the train that would take us to the Capitol. After five minuets Faye's mother walked in and gave me a hug.
"Please protect her. I'm not expecting you to die for her but please protect her as long as you can." She said to me as tears were sliding down her face. I hugged her again.
"I will protect her as much I can."
" Thank you Rose. " She simply said, then she left. The Peacekeepers opened the door and told me that we were going to the train. I saw the Doctor walking towards me and I grabbed his hand. I didn't want to be separated from him at all but I know that wasn't gonna be possible.
We got into the car and sat next to Jack and Faye, the other tributes were further in the front of the car. Nobody spoke, I just leaned my head on the Doctors shoulder amd squeezed his hand. He kissed my forehead and squeezed my hand back.
Finally we were at the train station, the Capitol woman eventually told us her name was Alodia Keene. She was kind to us but I guess all Capitol people have to be nice to us since we're into going to the Hunger Games and we're all gonna die except for one lucky tribute. The Doctor grabbed my hand and squeezed it as we walked onto the train.
We walked into a nice dining room area with a ton of different foods. There were baked goods to soups and meats. I turned to look at the Doctor who already had stuffed a cookie in his mouth.
"The last Time Lord 905 years old, the On Coming Storm. And he has a cookie shoved in his mouth." I laughed at him which caught Jacks attention. He looked up at us and smiled then kept talking to Ginger. He was probably flirting with her. He eventually walked up to us.
"So what happens now?" He asked.
"Well this train will take us to the Capitol and we will be assigned a prep team which will 'make us look more pleasurable' and then our stylist will create a costume for us for the Tribute Parade. Then we have two or three days of training then we go to the arena." I explained to them.
"Okay but I thought there can only be one winner how will we be able to make it through together?"
"We won't make it though. I don't think so anyways 'cause only one winner." I replied
" Don't talk like that Rose." The Doctor spoke up. "How did Kattnis and Peeta how did they both make it through?" He asked.
" At the end they threatened to eat some poisness berries 'cause they have to have a winner and doing that they ended up getting the Head Gamemaker killed 'cause he let them both live." I explained to both of them.
"Look we'll figure it out when we get there, okay?" He pulled me into a hug.
"Okay." I agreed. "Also I promised Faye's mum that we would protect her." I said as I looked up at him. He simply smiled at me and nodded. Alodia showed us where our rooms are but of course the Doctor and I would share mine since we didn't want to be apart during this at all.
