Chapter 20 - Protect the Pack

Masie's POV:

The whole day all I kept thinking about was Hunter and handsome he was and how I wished he wasnt doing this.

I wished there was a way I could make him see sense and fix everything.

I need to stop him before its too late before the whole pack is put in danger.

I ran and I ran into the woods were I knew Hunter would be and where I saw him last.

I really hoped he would be there.

I just stood there and stared into the woods wondering where he was.

And then I heard a voice and there he was just smiling at me.

I ran to him.

"Hunter" I said and hugged him tight.

"Where have you been?" I asked

"Just doing the usual, pack duties and that" he said and smiled at me.

I hugged him tighter I wish he wasnt doing this.

"Hunter, please dont kill Chace and your father its wrong, forget the pack how about me and you run away and leave this place for good, we dont need them anyway we just need each other" I said

"Oh really darling, you would risk everything to be with me, even leave your family behind to be with me" he asked

"Yes, I would" I said "For you anything" I said and kissed him and hugged him so tight.

I could of sworn I heard a rustling nose and felt someone else's presence. And there in the distance I saw Aly.

Oh my gosh she followed me and saw me with Hunter.

As I was hugging Hunter, she gasped and  I whispered the words no to her.

She clencher her mouth tight and ran away.

Hunter flinched "What was that?" He asked me.

"Nothing darling I'm sure its just the wind"  I said and smiled at him and continued to hug him.

I didnt know what to do Hunter was considerer an enemy but he was my mate I couldnt turn on him and I had to be with him.

I just held him tighter.

And he whispered.

"Dont worry sweetheart soon you and I will be together soon" he said

"Promise me you will meet me here tommorrow at dawn, you and I will leave first thing at sun rise" he said

I just stared at him "I promise" I said and I kissed him and held him so tight I really did love him.

He meant everything to me if me and him left I'm sure the Midnight Moon Pack would be safe and there wouldnt be any trouble anymore.

I had to leave with him to protect the pack.

I kissed him one last time and ran back to the pack I turned around and he was still standing there just watching me I smiled at him and he smiled too.

And I ran even further into the woods and back to our pack.

Hunter really was misunderstood they all thought he was evil and insane but he really wasnt he was kind and gentle I loved him.

I had to be with him no matter what.

But oh no Ally had seen me and Hunter.

I really hope she hasnt told anyone there going to think I'm a traitor conspiring with the enemy but he's my mate is this really fates twisted prank why is the enemy my mate.

But I loved him soo much I couldnt leave him behind I had to go back to him if that meant leaving the pack then so be it.

To protect them and the Midnight Moon Pack I had to leave with Hunter and persuade him to not do what he was going to do.

I had to make it right.
