A month ago, the Sekai Taikai had been agreed to continue in the All Valley Sports Arena in West Valley! Just like the olden days.

The Miyagi-Do Captains were hard at word. Training. Working their asses off to get faster, stronger, and have more skill.

Amara was over at Hawk's house during lunch, and he was helping her train. Hawk threw a punch as Amara ducked, and flipped around, to kick him in the face. Hawk leaned back to dodge as Amara dropped down into a front sweep, knocking him on the ground.

Hawk groaned, "Damn."

Amara laughed as she reached down for his hand, "Are you all right?" She asked him,

Hawk took her hand and pulled himself up, "Yeah, I'm good."

"Have you told Demetri about MIT?"

"Uh, no. I plan on it later though. When we're over at Miyagi-Do helping Robby."

Amara nodded, as both of their phones chimed. The two walked over and grabbed their phones, "Ooh, Caltech." She said, smiling. Hawk glanced down at his phone to see the same notification. He glanced over at his girlfriend with an oddly curious look.

Amara noticed, "Oh, yeah. I meant to tell you. I applied for Caltech. I decided that I wasn't going to allow Yale be my life so..." Hawk's look continued, "Why do you keep looking at me like that?"

Hawk flipped his phone screen to show the blonde, "Because I applied to."

"No, you didn't." Amara's face lit up. "Holy shit!" She became more serious, "We shouldn't celebrate yet. Let's see if we got in first."

The two took a deep breath. This was an exciting moment for the two. They hovered their fingers over the See Results button on their emails.

"Ok..." Hawk spoke, "Ready? Three...Two..."

"Wait!" Amara looked over at Hawk, "Switch phones. That way we can...you know."

The couple swapped phones and repeated the same thing. Taking a breath they began to hit the button.

"Three...Two..."

"Wait!" Amara shouted again,

"Oh, dear God, you're stressing me out babe. Just hit the damn button!"

"Ok, ok!"

The two hit the button on each other's phones. Amara froze as she saw the bold letters on Hawk's phone,

Amara didn't care about the rest of the information. She smiled, happily. She looked over at Hawk to see his face down. "What?" She asked him, turning her expression drastically.

"Y-you didn't get in." Hawk told her.

Amara sighed, "Oh..." Her heart sank into the bottom of her chest. She didn't know what to feel.

Hawk watched as he felt bad for the girl, "Just kidding!" He shouted, handing her her phone back.

The two traded back their phones and cheered happily, pulling each other into a tight compassionate hug. Amara was so happy for them both.
