The new beginning of Cobra Kai. Amara had driven her and Miguel over to the old Cobra Kai dojo.
The two walked in and it was the same smell. The same look. The same mat they had poured their blood, sweat, and tears into. This was where it all began.
"This place sure hasn't changed." Miguel said, looking over at Johnny in his old black gi with his headband.
"Quiet!" He shouted,
Amara chuckled, "Definitely not."
"Fall in."
The two kids took off their shoes and stepped onto the mat, facing Johnny in their junbi stances.
"This is where it all started." Johnny told them, "Diaz...Winchester..." He paused, looking at the girl. It had been a long time since she had been called by Emma's last name, "you two were my first students. And I was your first sensei. I taught you the style of karate that was taught to me. We've been through a lot of Cobra Kai bullshit since then. But none of that matters. Because this is our Cobra Kai. And tomorrow, we're gonna show the world that nobody strikes harder than us. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Sensei!" Amara and Miguel exclaimed loudly.
"Good. Now let's show these international assholes how we do things in the Valley."
Johnny had the kids start off by doing 50 push ups on their knuckles. Slowly, and hardly.
"48." Amara counted, aloud.
"How the hell are you at 48? I'm only at 39." Miguel said, looking at the girl.
Amara glanced over at the boy, "How the hell are you at 39?"
"Keep going." Johnny shouted, "Fifty more. Fifty more!"
The two grunted as they went down and pushed themselves back up.
"Come on, don't be pussies. Let's go!"
After pushups. He brought out the old dummies that they had when they first started. Just like the old times.
Johnny set them in front of the kids, "Imagine your opponent's face."
The two worked on their combos and punched and kicked. Amara imagined Zara. The raging bitch that assault her brother. The bitch in general.
She attacked, grunting, yelling, screaming. Letting everything out. Showing the whole dojo that she was pumped.
"540, Lawrence!"
Amara jumped out and jumped into the air, flipping into the 540 hook kick, kicking the dummy down and onto the ground.
"Hell yeah!" Johnny cheered, "You still got it." He looked over at Miguel, "Yes, Diaz!"
Daniel began to enter the dojo with Sam and Robby, holding the old blue pitching machine. "You asked for this?" Daniel asked,
"Oh, hell yeah. Now we're talking."
Amara chuckled, looking at Miguel, "Yep, just like old times."
The two men set up the machine and Miguel took the step first, punching and blocking the baseballs and resulted in not getting hit.
"Nice, Diaz!" He said, stopping the machine. "Amara, go!"
Amara took Miguel's place and was ready. She used paint the house and blocked the baseballs, repeatedly.
