The paralyzation drug keeps my head pinned to the ground, but yet I still manage to say, stunned. "What?" At the same time, Jessie says it too.
"The strongest one of you two, will become the Empire's greatest asset. The other," Palpatine pauses for effect. "Will die."
Jessie stands up shakily. I can sense her pain, her rib is broken. I send comforting waves through the Force to her. She sends waves of love back, thanking me.
"No." She says clearly.
"It's not like you really have a choice," the Emperor says.
"There's always a choice," she replies.
"The Jedi and their ridiculous mottos. How pathetic that you return to that nonsense when the dark side is right in front of you. Inquisitor, I trust that you have waited a long time to do this." He nods at the Inquisitor, who smiles cruelly and ignites his lightsaber. Both blades.
Jessie grabs my arm and pulls me up off of the ground. Gosh, she's strong. She drapes my arm around her shoulder and pulls me back, away from the double-bladed lightsaber. The Inquisitor makes it spin and slowly begins to walk towards us.
Suddenly, I have an idea. With the paralyzation drug in effect, I'm useless to help Jessie. But if I can fight it...

In my mind, the drug is like a syrup. It sticks to all of the parts of my brain required for moving. I Force-push the syrup and it moves away, but only a little. This time, I shove it as hard as I can with the Force and it flies away and disintegrates.
I push all of the syrup away in the same way. It all floats away and disintegrates. I shove the last piece of the syrup away and return to reality.

Jessie is staring at me, wide-eyed, as I slowly remove my arm from around her shoulder. The Inquisitor stops walking.

"What?! How are you not paralyzed?" He asks, angry.
"He is very powerful indeed," the Emperor muses. "Being able to remove all of the drug from his mind, it's almost unheard of."
He turns to the Inquisitor. "That was a perfect test. Good job, Inquisitor."
Surprised, the Inquisitor says. "Thank you, my Lord." And bows to Palpatine.
The Emperor turns to Darth Vader. "Kill the girl, and bring the boy to his knees with it."
Jessie cries out in terror and I turn to her. "I was only trying to help you, I can't believe this!"
She shakes her head. "I know. But if I'm dying today, then I want you to know: You truly are, my only love."
"I feel the same way."
Vader activates his red lightsaber.

"But you aren't dying, that I promise you!"
I spot my lightsaber hanging in the Inquisitor's belt and use the Force to pull it to me. I hold it in a defensive stance and push Jessie behind me.
Vader strikes and I lock blades with him. I pull away and strike, but he parries my blow. I kick and Vader slides backwards, away from me.
Jessie turns to the Inquisitor and Force-slams him into a wall. He hits it hard and is instantly unconscious. She runs over to him and grabs her lightsabers from his belt.
The Emperor turns to us and motions for Darth Vader to step back. "I will deal with the girl myself."
He reaches into his cloak and removes two long tubes.
He presses two buttons on them and I gasp as two red blades extend from them. The Emperor is a Sith Lord.
