After outlining the beast, here comes the interesting part XD We get to design it and give it a unique hide! Yay! *sprinkles confetti*
So... I've put on some tattoo-like markings on its face and ears, given it stripy, H-like markings on its limbs, and rosette spots (like a leopard's) on its back. Feel free to pattern your beast in your own style, look up some tribal prints or something, or refer to some real life animals like zebras, spotted deer or hyenas (they have nice hides ^^)
Also, I've distinguished the places where the fur would be darker, which is the short mane, the tail tips and the area just above the beast's paws. These will be darkened in the next step, which is rendering and putting in shadows on the beast's body. Of course, you can darken other areas of the beast as you please XD (it rhymes lol)
