*Upside Down*
Rachel runned cursing under her breath, she could hear Nancy scream, she hide behind a large tree, she breathed heavily, she could hear footsteps growing closer, that's when she spotted Nancy running towards her side, Rachel reached forward grabbing her arm, yanking Nancy towards her, Rachel looked at her placing a finger on her lips signalling her to remain quiet, "Stay quiet." Rachel whispered as Nancy nodded, they could hear growling right behind them, they both held their breath. As the growling disappeared, Rachel spoke, "Jonathan!","Rachel!" as soon as she heard his voice, she held Nancy's hand as she runned, she followed his voice, "Jonathan!" Rachel screamed again, "Rachel! I'm right here! Follow my voice!" Jonathan kept yelling, and then soon, they found the portal, "You go first, hurry!" Rachel spoke looking at Nancy, she nodded as, she knelt down, crawling inside the portal, she struggled at first but, then Jonathan pulled her out from the other side, Rachel quickly knelt down too, she screamed as she saw the monster chasing her, she gasped as she saw a hand coming from the portal, it was Jonathan's, "Rachel, grab my hand!" without hesitating she grabbed it and he pulled her out, as she came out of the portal she let out a gasp, she lies on the ground, looking at the sky breathing heavily, she looked at her side, looking at Jonathan and Nancy hugging.
*Nancy's bathroom*
Rachel was washing herself, the warm water running through her body as she had flashbacks, of what happened earlier, then she started thinking of when she was at the Laboratory.
*Flashback, 1976* *Hawkins Laboratory*
Rachel was taken and immersed in the sensory deprivation tank, she then found herself alone in the dark, "The Void", she walked around, when she heard growling, she turned just to see a creature feeding on something, she approached slowly until she was mere inches facing it's back, she slowly raised her hand touching it's back, suddenly the creature turned around growling, little Rachel opened her eyes as she started hitting the tank, while screaming.
*End of Flashback*
Rachel got out of the shower, drying herself, as she wore the clothes Nancy gave her, she walked out of the bathroom, she saw Holly on her folding seat, she approached and smiled at her as Holly smiled back, "Are you okay, Rachel?" Karen asked placing an hand on her back, Rachel nodded smiling, "Yeah, I'm okay.." Karen smiled back as Rachel walked up the stairs into Nancy's room, to find Jonathan running a hand up and down Nancy's back, she then looked at the window as she saw something but it disappeared immediately.
*Henderson household*
Riley paced back and forth impatiently in the living room, "Dustin, hurry up!" She yelled as Dustin yelled back, "Yeah, calm down, I'm here!" She heard footsteps coming down the stairs, she rolled her eyes as she kissed her mom goodbye, before walking out of the house to grab her bicycle, She started pedalling away with Dustin following her, "Hey, wait up!".
