Heart -- slowly publishing!

"Who wouldn't be surprised?! That guy next door is my new photographer-partner! That jerk who almost-"

"Kiss you." Vice continued. They are in Vice's dressing room, bonding. It's her free day so she decided to visit him in his shoot for a movie s/he's doing.

"But you know what, Vice? My heart beats irregularly when he is around. That moment he went closer to me, it's like my heart is in my throat. Gustong lumabas!" She exclaimed, looking somewhere, smiling like an idiot, right hand over her heart.

"Ang landi! Hoy Salonga, alam mo namang playboy yun di ba?" But He is not before your damn brain decided to forget everything. He wants to add.

Yes, Vice knew about him and her, about their story. He even pushed her to go apply for the job she has now for them to get close.

"Hey! Come on! Take mo na." a staff approached Vice, the reason why s/he have to go and leave Lea.

"Oh, ano? Keri mo na dyan ha? Babalik ako, wag kang mag-alala."

"Sira! Sige na, Viceral! Hahaha!"

"Tse! Dyan ka na nga."

Lea just smiled a genuine one, and then felt her heart.

"Why do I feel like I've known him for so long?"

"Thank you, Jazzle for helping me."

"It's my pleasure, Sir. I do hope you'll win her back."

"No, I won't, because I never really lost her. She is still mine. It's just that, I didn't fight for us when I knew she can't. But now, I'm making my way to fight for us. I am not and will never give up this time."

"She loves you still." She smiled at him but it just confused him.

"What?"

"You can never learn to love someone again if hindi ka naman talaga tumigil na mahalin s'ya in the first place. It's the same as hers. As far as I know, she has never been in love with someone else because you, you still own her heart. Her heart still beats for you even If her mind isn't aware of that fact."

And with that, his lips slowly formed a smile.

The thought of her still in love with him gives him undeniably great joy in his heart.

I came early in the office today for I am completely aware that she hates being late, only to find a bouquet of roses lying on her table.

Lumabas ako ng pinto to ask someone.

"Hey Jen, kanino galing yung flowers sa table ni Lea?"

"Ay, one week pa lang binabakuran mo na?"

I frowned but she just laughed at me.

"Kidding, Ags. Rob sends her flowers almost every day."

I looked at her questioningly, "Everyday as in every day? Bakit sa buong linggo ko dito wala akong nakita?"

"Lea throws them before anyone would see. Ako nga lang nakakapansin kasi ako lang din ang tulad n'yang sobrang aga kung pumasok."

I smiled knowingly.

"Ay, himala late s'ya ngayon."

"Oo nga e. Baka na-late ng gising." She's with Vice last night. It's her off so they decided to hang-out.

"And himala din, maaga ka ngayon." Then she laughed continuously.

"Yeah. Bukas makalawa, fired ka na." I said and then winked at her.

"Joke lang. Di ka naman mabiro Ags. Hee hee!"

I just then smiled.

"Hmm..." I reached for my phone as I heard it sound signaling there's a message.

Good Morning, gorgeous! What's our agenda for today?

Love, your handsome photographer.

My heartbeat increased instantly upon reading the message. It's him!

From: +0916xxxxxx 9:05

Lea, I looked at our schedule. We have a meeting by 11 with Ms. Sarah Geronimo. You must be here now. We need to get ready by ten.

-Aga~Gwapo

Napapangiti ako sa kakulitan ng gagong 'to. Handsome? Gwapo? S'ya? Well, oo.

And lastly,

Hey, lady! Aren't you going to work? You're two hours late.

-Ags

With that last text, my eyes widened.

"Oh my God!"

It's been a long day. We just finished our appointment with Sarah Geronimo and we're almost done packing.

"Hey, Sarah, thank you! We'll just go back for our next appointment, okay? That'll be the last for your cover shoot, don't worry. Hahaha!"

"Naku, Ms. Lea, it's a pleasure to work with you po and Ms. Lea?"

"Yes, Sarah?"

"Ang gwapo po nung photographer n'yo, bagay kayo." She giggled and she winked at me.

"Ikaw ah. Yeah, he's handsome but he's a playboy."

"Malay n'yo naman po, kayo na ang makapag-pabago sa kanya. Sige po, I'll go ahead."

"Okay. Thanks ulit! Ingat!"

" ....kayo na ang makapag-pabago sa kanya."

Aga insisted of sending me home and here we are, getting near my unit.

"Uhm, Lea, about what happened last time, in your unit, I -"

"It's okay."

"No. It's-"

"It's fine -- really. What to come in?"

"Ah, hindi na nakakahiya. I'll go ahead. Uuwi na ako"

He walked past his unit which got me confused.

"Hey Aga, I thought you're going home? Or may date ka pa?" Why do care Lea? Ugh.

I'm a friend, you know. I have a bit right to know. Yeah, Lea. Make yourself believe that.

"No, I'm not going on a date, or a one night stand. And yes, I'm going home."

"One night stand, huh?"

"Inunahan na kita, besides you'll ask, I know. And I've sold this unit already." He smiled, dimples out. Oh, those dimples I've fallen for.

Wait, what? Oh my God. Ano bang pinagsasabi ko?

"I'll go ahead, Lea. Sugar sweet dreams. I'll see you tomorrow, gorgeous."

And then he left, his smiling image in my mind, slowly publishing in my heart.
