It is 6am and Lea's alarm clock started ringing and it's annoying her to the most annoying way possible.
"Uh! Stop!" She groaned and tried to reach for it. She rolled over her bed to get a closer touch of the clock. She tapped it multiple times and it didn't stop.
To Lea's annoyance, she threw the alarm clock away and readied herself to sleep again. But as she was about to lay down, the clock alarmed again and this time, even louder.
Just then she realized, her mom, Mommy Ligaya bought her an alarm clock with three puzzle pieces which are to fly out of their place when the clock alarms. And you need to put them back to their original positions before getting the alarm stop.
She stood up grodgily and looked for the puzzle pieces. "Damn this alarm clock! I didn't even have four hours of sleep."
The door of her room suddenly opened which rather shocked her and because of that, she fell off. "Aray! Yung pwet ko!" She complained.
"I told you to wake up early Salonga." Dawn told her while putting some mascara. She is all set and Lea is there in the floor, still struggling to find those puzzle pieces.
"Bakit ba--" "Look, you asked me to join you here because your mom, Tita Ligaya isn't around. And you told me that you have your early rehearsals/taping for The Voice today tapos ayaw mong bumangon." Lea looked at her and examined her face as if processing what she just said.
"Ano? Titignan mo na lang ako dyan? E kung tumayo ka na at maligo because I also have a taping and I can't afford to be late! My God, Lea!" Dawn tapped her forehead at the end of her statement.
Late. Oh, God. Late na s'ya.
Lea looked at her wide eyed and ran to the bathroom. "Ikaw na bahala sa alarm clock ko! Patahanin mo ha! Thanks sis!"
She shouted and all that Dawn could do is sigh and shut the alarm clock off.

Lea is driving safely through the road of Edsa to her destination, to their studio for their early rehearsals/taping of The Voice, when a car from behind drove faster on her right and almost hit her.
The car wasn't even contented with what happened and even tried to overtake her drawing nearer her car. For Pete's sake! Her car is new; she can't afford having it damaged.
"Darn it! Inconsiderate well-being! Why are you even given the chance to live, you asshole!" Lea screamed to her mind as she tried to manuever her car to the left to avoid the reckless driver that is trying to get close.
She thought, the driver of the car would stop pestering her but she's wrong. When they reached the stop light, the car's windows rolled down which revealed a yes, she must admit, a very handsome creature with the shades on.
"Sa susunod, tumabi ka sa dinadaanan ko!" The guy shouted. Aba'y asdfghjkl, ako na nga muntik n'yang magasgasan, s'ya pa may ganang manigaw at magalit?
"Excuse me? Do you, inconsiderate jerk, own this road? As much as I can recall, this is a public good and not a private one so you probably don't own it, you asshole." Lea raised her left eyebrow on him.
He was about to answer when the green light lighted. With that, Lea left him with her goodbye remarks. "And by the way, if you're not informed yet, shades are used to protect our eyes from the sunlight and not an accessory while you are inside your car, idiot!" After that, Lea did a virtual hair flip and drove away giving away a smirk.
---
"Oh My Gosh! I'm sorry I'm late!" Lea rushed inside their studio. "Magpaayos ka na sa loob, Lea." Mr. M told her seriously. O-oh, he's not in his best mood today so better move quick.
She hurriedly went to her and Sarah's dressing room. "Hi Sars! Kusie, John, paki naman."
"Right away, madam!" The two answered in chorus while walking different ways. "Hi coach! Mukhang tinakbo n'yo po hanggang dito sa studio ah?" Asked the ever so charming and mahinhin Sarah Geronimo and then laughing a bit.
"Yes, I did. And there's this inconsiderate jerk na ginitgit ang kotse ko kanina kaya nagkanda leche-leche ang byahe ko on the way here." She answered looking up for Kusie already started to do his job with her eyes.
"Ay, sana ho hindi n'yo na pinatulan." Sarah knows her well now. She knows Lea won't let that pass without her making 'patol'.
"I just can't Sars. My car is new for Christ's sake! Tapos gagasgasan n'ya lang if ever hindi ako attentive kanina? Ugh! May he burn in hell!"
Sarah smiled. She won't win against her, what's the point? Lea Salonga is Lea Salonga. What she wants, she gets. It is not because people hand her those things that she wants but because she reaches for them; she works hard to attain her goals.
And she will do what she thinks is right. Walang sino-sino, basta alam n'yang tama gagawin n'ya kahit may mabangga s'ya basta alam n'yang nasa tama s'ya.
Moments later, Kusie finished his magic with her already gorgeous face. And then, John snatched their attentions.
"Madam?" John called out. "Keri lang ba?" He is talking about an above the knee fitted dress that will showcase her bare back and a pair of five inches red stilettos.
She did a hair flip and snatched the dress and those shoes from his hands. "No point of delaying the show, sweetheart."
---
They just finished taping and Lea feel exhausted plus her feet that are badly aching because of the stilettos she wore and still are wearing on her way to her dressing room (5 inches kaya yun). It has been a long day. She wants to be in her bed now and just sleep a dead sleep.
"Bye Coach L! Ingat po! Wag na makikipag-away sa kalsada ha! Mwah!" Sarah kidded biding goodbye.
"Take care bhe! Wag na makipag-date ha!" She called out laughing at the end then waved her hands to Sarah who smiled.
Moments later, she's out of her dressing room with her comfy flip flops, maong pants, and a gray statement shirt which says, Maganda ka lang, Dyosa ako in front and Born to be a Goddess at the back of it, which rather fits her perfectly.
She has her Prada she hands like a supermodel endorsing it and her other hand handling her things. She's in the elevator when Coach Bamboo came in too.
"Hi Coach! Looks like you're having hard times with that. Lemme help." Bamboo stated pointing at her things in a bag.
"No, I'm fi--" "I insist." Bamboo cut her off reaching for the bag. "Thanks!"
"Na-late ka kanina. That's a first." He joked and chuckled.
She sighed. "Yes, that's a first because I hate being late. But I woke up late and some stupid, idiotic, reckless driver almost hit my car. Damn it!"
"Oh, chill. But he did that? Wow! Such a brave man. Nobody messes up with THE Lea Salonga, you know." She glared at him as the elevator swung open. He smiled at her and let her out extending his arms to give her space to go.
"It's true. Nobody wants to mess up with you, Ms. Broadway Diva." He chuckled and watched open her car's door. "Pati ikaw?" Lea's turn to laugh now. "You don't want to mess up with me?" She asked moving closer to him.
He held her waist and pulled her closer, his face on side. "Yes. Especially with what I know you can do. Ire-report mo yung driver ano?" He asked whispering on her ear.
She moved a bit, looked at his face and tilted her head to the right then smiled, a meaningful one. She removed herself from his hug and got her bag.
"How did you know that sweetheart?" She asked as she hop in fixing her things inside.
"Oh, well. You are THE Broadway brat." He laughed, bid goodbye and smashed her door. "Take care, Lei!"
Lea smiled and started her engine.
"Gwapo ka lang langya. Humanda ka. AAM 317. Makikita mo hinahanap mo."
