AAM 317 - Piece of Him

"Sakto pala tayo ng dating!" An officer told his agent as he wave his hand to an approaching car signaling it to stop.

The car stopped just in front of them and rolled its window down. "Magandang araw ho sir! Maaari ho ba namin kayong imbitahan sa opisina?" The guy took an ID from his pocket and showed the driver. "LTFRB po, Sir."

The driver, who is wearing a dark-tinted shades looked at him, took his seatbelt off and went out of the car. "Ano ho bang violation ko, boss?" He asked simply putting both hands in his back pockets.

"May nagreklamo ho kasi sa amin ng reckless driving laban sa inyo." Said the officer handling him the complaint files plus a CD.

"Baka naman pwede nating pag-usapan 'to, boss." The driver said smiling while giving the officer kaya-kitang-bayaran-kahit-magkano look.

"Mr. Aga Muhlach, tama ho ba?" The driver nodded. "Ang complaint laban sa inyo ay idiniretso sa chairman's office kaya naman ho aming inaaksyunan. Ngayon kung ayaw n'yo hong sumama, yung lisensya n'yo na lang ho ang ibigay n'yo sa akin."

Napaka-pakipot naman ng ulol na 'to. Babayaran ko nga s'ya e. Aga thought."Name your price, babayaran na lang kita para i-settle na 'to. Bilisan mo. I'm in a hurry." Aga told the officer while looking for some cash inside his wallet.

"Nakainom ho yata tayo Sir?" Asked the officer who seemed not minding what he said and is completely not interested with the money he is offering.

"Why do you care asshole? Just name your price." He shouted. And that's it, the officer lost his patience. "Dalhin n'yo na yan. Pahatak n'yo na lang yung kotse."

Aga is still readying himself to pay -- no, he is not paying the officer because he (Aga) is attempting to bribe him -- when he heard the officer say that. "Wait, what?" He asked in shock.

"Reckless driving plus over speeding dun sa video ng cctv that the complainant presented, driving under the influence of liquor and attempted bribery. Sa presinto ka na magpaliwanag sir."

Damn it! Hindi ba s'ya kilala ng g*gong 'to? I swear mawawalan ka ng trabaho bukas.

The officer, Mr. Lee Ar Hernandez, started to walk towards his car but stopped midway and faced Aga.

"I don't care if you're the son of a multi-billionaire businessman in the country. For as long as you violate rules, I will implement them to you. Wala akong sini-sino kahit si Aga Muhlach ka pa." He told Aga holding his stare then walked away.

"So, ikaw pala ang driver nung AAM 317! Pleasure to meet you, sir." The LTFRB chair told Aga, who is now in the detention cell, with a mischievous grin. "It is because of you that i got the chance, the privilege to meet one of the country's pride and honor." He added as he looked at him with pity inside the jail.

"I don't fvcking care whoever that pride you are talking about. Give me my phone and I'll call my sister to get me out of this damn cell!" Aga shouted. "Don't you want to know who complained against you? Bahala ka." The chairman told him, smiling.

"I've got connections. I don't need your help." Aga stated as a matter of factly. "Now, lend me my phone." The chair nodded and let him use his phone.
