Lisa Marcel's POV
I groaned at the sound of my alarm clock, signaling the first day of school. Well, it was the first day of school to me. I rolled over to see that I had loads of Twitter notifications from celebrities on my phone. I got out of bed, still half asleep.
"Good morning, Lucy. Did you sleep well?" asked my mom, Samantha Marcel. "Morning, Mom. Yeah, I actually did," I replied tiredly. I usually don't wake up at 6. After a quick breakfast, I started preparing for school while blasting the first song in my playlist 'She Bad by Cameron Dallas Ft. SJ3'.
I took about 8 and a half minutes on just preparing my school bag and taking a bath. "Lucy, are you gonna send me to school?" my younger brother, Daniel Marcel, asked innocently. Oh no, I totally forgot about Daniel! "Of course, Dan!" I replied whilst scratching the back of my head sheepishly.
"Mom, we're off!" I called out as we left, holding Daniel's hand. Halfway through the journey to Daniel's school, he started tripping over his own two feet, so I gave him a piggyback ride. After dropping off Daniel, I made my way to my school, Geoege Academy. I was only a few steps away from the entrance when the school bell rang, signaling all students to go to their classrooms.
"Oh crap, I'm late!" I screamed in my head as a signal to run to find my class faster. As I ran down the corridor, I ran into a cute looking guy who looked kinda mad. "Oops.. S-so-sorry 'bout t-that..." I stuttered while looking at his baby blue eyes for 2 seconds. Why was I stuttering? Oh man, I was a sucker for blue eyes. They make me weak in the knees for some apparent reason.
"Hey, that's okay. Are you new here or something?" the cute guy asked with the most adorable smile I've ever seen on a boy. I felt my cheeks burn and nodded shyly. "Let me see your schedule and I'll help you out," the cute guy smiled as I passed him my schedule. I swear I just saw his face light up before introducing himself, "We have all the same classes, so you can just follow me around. The name's Michael, Michael James Iglesias by the way." "My name's Lucy, Lucy Grace Marcel," and with that, we went to the first class, which happened to be Homeroom together.
