Michael's POV
I was rushing to Homeroom class as I heard the first bell of the day ring. I was late. CRASH! Dang it, I crashed into someone! It was a girl. A cute-looking girl.
"Oops.. S-so-sorry 'bout t-that..." she stuttered while looking at my baby blue eyes for 2 seconds. I stared back at her. I took this chance to memorize her face and appearance of the day. Hey, I didn't want any fights to occur. I snapped back to reality and saw the girl still staring at me. Oh gosh, I finally remembered. Girls are suckers for blue eyes. They always make them weak in the knees for some apparent reason.
"Hey, that's okay. Are you new here or something?" I asked while giving my best smile. I saw a streak of red on her cheeks as she nodded shyly. "Let me see your schedule and I'll help you out," I smiled as she passed me her schedule. I felt my face light up before saying, "We have all the same classes, so you can just follow me around. The name's Michael, Michael James Iglesias by the way." "My name's Lucy, Lucy Grace Marcel," and with that, we went to Homeroom side by side.Lucy's POV
I couldn't help but smile while waiting to be called to come in the classroom. I can't seem to stop thinking about Michael. We just met about 5 minutes ago and here I am thinking about him. Nice job, Lucy.
"Come in, Ms Marcel" the teacher, whom I got to know as Mr Brooks, called me in. I adjusted my poisture and started walking normally into the classroom with clammy hands. The moment I turned to face the class with a smile plastered on, everyone cheered at how cute/pretty I look. And by everyone, I mean everyone. Even Michael. I felt my cheeks go warm and introduced myself to my new classmates.
"Hi, my name's Lucy Grace Marcel. Nice to meet y'all. Like most of you, I'm 16. Well, I'm actually gonna turn 16 in about a month's time but yeah." I bowed. As I took a good look of my new classmates, I caught Michael staring at me with his cute little smile. Gosh, why did he have to be so damn cute?
Mr Brooks instructed me to find an empty seat and I began looking around for one. Michael noticed this and patted the empty seat beside him, signaling me to sit beside him. As I sat and pushed in my chair, I started getting butterflies in my stomach. What could this feeling mean? Could it be..... LOVE?!
